I found that I needed two piers per section of HO track. Also, I made the mistake of having the elevated HO track cross the O gauge layout under it. Not enough room under for the O gauge to fit. Do they work? Yes- but my feeling is to double them up per track as I wrote. By the way, they are not difficult to put together.
