The design is simple and it works great! I verified it with an internal thermometer.Of course we were moving in and out of shade and air conditioning as we stopped to eat and moved through the park, but this bag was able to help the epi-pen maintain 27.5C, which is well within the "temporary safe" temperature for travelling (not long-term storage).Of course it's not immune to failure, but it works great when used properly. We were able to ruin an epi-pen after having the bag in direct sunlight on a 104F day for over 3 hours - but that's brutal. I have never seen it reach failure (30C) when used in any normal way.Epi-pens are so expensive, you NEED this product if you carry an epi-pen. I know it sounds clique, but epinephrine is a life saving drug, and you must do your best to ensure it is safe and working properly.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. It's made extremely well and I love how the insulated packs for hot / cold weather help keep the epi pens at the right temperature. Overall... I love this product.

I love that this case addresses the temperature needing to be within a certain range. I have been using a frio wallet for my sons Epi owns for years and while it DID keep them from getting too hot in summer, it did NOTHING to address extreme cold in New England winters! (And it was too big for my son to self carry.)I took this to my local seamstress and had her sew on a stretchy jogging belt (The kind you are meant to put your phone in while you jog that got at dollar tree). It’s perfect now! He self carries and it’s safe from extreme termps in either direction!I’m seriously considering buying another one and having it sewn on a shorter belt, so that it can be an “ankle holster” (like the omax care) under his boot cut jeans in the winter, but this one would be better, again bc of the temptcontrolling packets and secure zipper all the way securing his Epi pens.In short, I love this thing!!

This fits epipens, an asthma puffer and some antihistamines really nicely without being too big for my handbag. It has some useful pockets on the outside and a good clip. I haven't used the cooling or heating packs yet but will do in summer. It's good quality but pretty pricey.

We accidentally left the epi (which was in this case) in a hot car for 1-2 hours and the case protected the epi. It was still cool to the touch and I am highly impressed. Would recommend this case!! And I love that it’s a bright color so we can see it easily.
