It’s not level with the floor so it can be a trip hazard for seniors or people that have balance issues if they are unaware of its location.

I purchased this mat when I moved to a standing desk at work. Before I ordered this, I spent days researching mats for thickness and quality and materials. This one stood out at the top of the substantial list. After using it for a few days, I bragged about it so much that several co-workers ordered the same mat!

I like this mat, feels good under my feet. I wish I would have bought a bigger one.

I'm in my late 70s, and I still cook from scratch meals several times a week for me and my partner. We bought three of these mats in black for a long periods of standing in the kitchen. Although they feel good to stand on, I trip on them quite often. Thankfully I have not fallen… Yet! I have to vacuum these every day because they show up every spec of anything. Even a spot of water can be seen after it dries. I have tried several cleaning products, and the one thing I found that works is diluted bleach. The mats also "scoot" little by little so I have to move them back into place occasionally.
