i was just wondering how this fits... im a woman and i find that most hats are just too big on my head and even cover my ears. any comments on fit?

Hi. For me it is exactly what I wanted. It's a smaller fit and look cap. I didn't want a bulky looking cap like what's available for MLB and NFL teams. It is adjustable with a Velcro strap which I find easier for adjustments. Hope that helps!
