Overwhelmed
I'm overwhelmed by all the great hard rock and metal we fans of it are getting lately. Musicians from the classic 80s heyday of power rock and metal are delivering records as good or better then back in the day and this is yet another one!Mike Howes voice is as good as back in the day. Kurdts guitar is exceptional as always. The drummer is more then adaquete in Kirk Arringtons place.Solid rhythm section and the production is outstanding. It appears some engineers are producing for us old school hi fi listeners and not ear buds.If you like classic metal with a dose of thrash, get this.

Mike Howe sparks a classic return to form!!!
Wow what can I say.....Metal Church is all the way back! This album is simply Killer and Mike Howe's performance is truly amazing! I can't describe it any better than the reviewer who stated this album is like Blessing in Disguise, Human Factor, and Hanging in the Balance all blended together and violently spit out!If you're a long time Metal Church fan like myself it is almost surreal to hear Mike Howe back singing again, much less in absolute top form! I honestly never thought in my wildest imagination that would ever happen again? It's almost like a time-warp circa 1995 where grunge never happened, Metal Church never broke up, and they just released their follow up to Hanging in the Balance........what a gift!Despite giving up hope of a Mike Howe/Metal Church reunion I was at least happy that they were able to reform and carry on with Ronnie. While he was certainly not in Mike Howe's league, his voice fit the band well and I found their first 2 albums with Ronnie (Weight of the World and A Light in the Dark) to be excellent in there own right. This album however finds the band completely reinvigorated and inspired with Mike Howe now back at the helm!Great songs, a fantastic production, and the return of Mike Howe all make this album a triumphant return to form and a must have for anyone who considers themselves a true metal fan! Here's hoping this line up can stay together for many years to come and deliver more outstanding albums like XI! Thanks Guys......Metal On!

Glad Howe is Back
It's good and I'm glad that Metal Church is back with making albums with Mike Howe. It's not their best, but it's a welcome, and worthy, addition to the Metal Church catalogue. My personal favorite singer for the band is David Wayne (RIP), but a close second is Howe. I'm not going to go song by song, but it's a solid Church album from start to finish and, if you like the band, you'll be happy to own this album.

Very good!
For whatever reason i was never into Metal Church growing up in the 80's but as i'm always in the search for new hard rock / heavy metal material, i decided to give this album a shot in the dark. Boy am i glad i did. Straight up heavy metal that kicks the whole way through. With each listen my appreciation for this album grows. Definitely worth checking out even if you are unfamiliar with Metal Church's work as i was.

Super Riffy Guitars!
It's a great album. Old school metal....super riffy guitars, killer drums and Mike Howe's voice rips! Glad I got this one...can't seem to get enough. Highlights are Needle and Suture, Reset, and Shadow.

METAL IS ALIVE AND DOING VERY WELL !
Metal is alive and very well with this killer album ! I let my father in law listen to it and he's a jazz drummer / bassist and the first thing he picked up on was the percussion... Jeff plate on drums is one the the best in the industry ! Mike Howe has THE VOICE OF TRUE METAL as does Bobby Blitz of OVERKILL ... This album to me is probally the best album of 2016..Kurts shredding is as amazing as always ! If you are looking for a great METAL album look no further and place your order... You won't be disappointed !

Great return!!!
Great return to form for Metal Legends. Never thought Mike Howe would ever come back to the music business, but he has and Metal Church has "that sound" that I love. Just Metal all the way around. Love it, you won't be disappointed.
