Second time trying this emulsion. First time I had no idea what I was doing and switched to the beginner emulsion which was fine but didn’t last too well with water-based inks and would start to break up while printing. This second time around, I had a better light and setup, exposed for 15 seconds using a 50 w LED UV light at a distance of about 18 inches off the print side. Worked perfectly. Had to drop down from my originally 45 seconds, then to 30 second and found I was over exposing with both. So 15 seconds it is

I am not very experienced with screen print photo emulsions. I started with Caydo and when I ran out I got this brand because of the longer shelf life. I have attempted 7 screens so far and not one has gone well. I have adjusted curing times, I’ve tried soaking the exposed screen I’ve tried varying the thickness to the point where it’s extremely thin and I cannot get a clean image. I am so frustrated with it that I threw out a half full container and purchased a bottle of Caydo. Maybe im missing something but I will never waste my time or money on this brand again.

For those who want to know; I exposed my screen (43T white mesh) for 13-15sec using a 50W UV LED placed 13" above the screen. Good details preserved.

Worked great. Didn’t even have to use my pressure washer. My shower head made a perfect stencil. Which I had found this earlier.
