Permatex 22340 Fast Orange Grease X Mechanic's Laundry Detergent, 40 fl. oz.

I bought this to get rid of the smell of diesel on our boot liner after an accidental spillage. Nothing else worked. Very pleased.

Was disappointed when the detergent arrived as the lid was smash and had leaked in the box. I've seen other reviews that say this so better packaging needs putting around the lid to protect this obvious weak point. The seller discussed with me and we came to an agreement that we were both happy with.Used some of the remaining bottle. I'm still unsure if I like the smell of this or not but it definitely seems to be cleaning my husbands workwear better. He's a hydraulic service engineer so can end up with a lot of hydraulic fluid on his clothes. Not sure how well it is at removing stains as my husbands uniform is all black on purpose but they definitely felt cleaner. It's quite a small bottle for the cost but it does seem to do the job and you don't need a massive amount in each wash.

I used this for clothes that had light contact with a small spill form a diesel pump when filling the car. It has just spread the smell more to the other clothes that I was wearing and washed together. Hasn't got rid of the diesel attall and has probably ruined the others that were less contaminated plus I have had to do an extra clean of the washing macine. Rip off.

Bought this as partner works on Landrovers. Cleans ok but only masks the smell of diesel with a kind of musty orange smell. Works ok for smaller drops of diesel but not great when it’s been a complete engine rebuild.

I work in a scrap yard and this doesn't work. Oil staines and fuel smell still on clothes even after 2 washes. At best they fade slightly.

Strong cleansing and reliable the only detergent that will remove the diesel and grease off then others a different breed of detergent it packs a punch to the meaning of washed

My husbands clothes got drenched in diesel fule. I tried everything in the books to get it up with no luck and thinking I had to throw the clothes out,I found this and though I'd try it. After clothes been sitting in diesel fule for 5 days, after 1 wash the smell was gone. I did a capful to warm water and used the soak mode on my washer with a bit of regular tide detergent. Came out smelling like fast orange.

Was so happy with this product. My partner is a mechanic and I was sick of seeing and smelling oil and fuel. This product says you don't need to soak but I use it yo pre soak his work clothes and the amount of oils it pulls out of the clothes is fantastic. Might just save my washing machine.

My husband works oilfield, he does well tests, sometimes he gets deep raw crude stains.( very thick and stinky) Tide doesn't touch it, oxi clean soaking for days, doesn't touch it.Besides the stained pants shirts; theres the smell on the clothes and in my washer. I've tried commercial detergents and stain release for oil based stains, etc. Nothing has worked until this little bottle. My washer smells clean too. That is a first!!Being honest here too.....Some stains do require soaking and maybe even spot scrubbing with a brush.On articles with heavier stains, I will spot scrub and then soak in washer for a couple hours. Then another final wash. With other detergents, there was never enough soaking,scrubbing or washing that removed stain and smell. If spot scrubbing on occasion and washing maybe twice is what it takes, then I will continue to buy Fast Orange, because that is all it takes!!Some reviews noted how small the bottle was.No joke on that!! It is small, but mighty!!Now, if theyd make a bigger bottle, it would be super greatly appreciated!!

This stuff works.... My work clothes are coming out much cleaner than ever!It is expensive, and I only use it when I get grease or hydraulic fluid ground into my Carharts....But holy hannah...... It does the job.
