Product Description desertcart Basics Hard Anodized Non-Stick 14-Inch Skillet with Helper Handle, Black From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics Review: What a find!!! - I needed a good, quality nonstick pan I could make family meals in day after day. I can’t afford the fancy ones, but the “middle of the road” pans wear out so fast. I was resigned to settling for one that was smaller than I wanted because even the middle of the road in the large size are pricy right now. Who knew desertcart had their own pans? It’s ENORMOUS!! I can finally cook everything in one pan, with room to spare so it gets cooked evenly and doesn’t splash or overflow when I’m flipping or stirring. So far the non-stick coating is working nicely, cleans up easily because of it. It’s sturdy, not cheap, very solid. Heats evenly. And did I mention it’s HUGE?!?! I don’t know why it seems so much bigger than the old one I had that was just one inch smaller, but I’m not complaining. All in all for the price, this is a perfect pan. Review: Luv this pan - It's a big AZZ saute pan and I luv it. Heats up fairly even. Need to bring it up slow to evenly heat it cuz it is big. Great for a complete one pan skillet dinner. Can't speak to durability as I've only had it for a short time. But its well made

Love
I love the size, the weight and the price. Not too heavy. Definitely a keeper! Just wish it came with a lid. I was lucky to have a glass lid that i saved from an old pan i threw out. Thinking of getting one for my daughter to use in college.

Great quality!
I ordered the Amazon basics skillet after the brand I had been using seemed to discontinue the model I liked. Of all my pots and pans, my skillets get used daily and thus replaced every so many years. After reading reviews, I decided to give this skillet a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability and heaviness to it. It is definitely non-stick, takes a little bit to heat up compared to what I was used to but when it does it is evenly heated. And more importantly it cleans so nicely!! Once I bought the first one, I decided to go back and order the other sizes. It's so nice to have 5 skillets of various sizes (I only had 3 before!).

Amazing pan.
I bought this because it was like $7 bucks. I was genuinely surprised at the quality, it's non-stick, it has soft handles, it is pretty big as well. Overall a steal if you can get it on sale.

Great pans, easy to clean
I got 2 of these to replace 2 old teflon pans that weren’t cleaning up so great. I make a lot of hamburgers. After making the burgers and letting the pans cool a little, they’re super easy to wipe down with paper towels. Then just a soapy sponge finishes the clean up. WARNING: they’re lightweight so be careful they don’t slide right off the burner when flipping the burgers!

Great hard anodized nonstick fry pan for the money
Ordered the 14" one and it is larger than I expected. extends well beyond the large burner on my gas stove but appears to heat well and evenly setting the burner to about 1/2 heat. Lighter weight but finish appears durable and is functionally comparable to my favorite much more expensive German made frypan. So far has not warped or discolored on the bottom. I always use wooden utensils, wipe it out immediately with a paper towel and let it cool, then wipe it out with a damp dishcloth and dry dishtowel. hangs well from my potrack. I've gone through at least one calphalon 12" every year or so under daily use because the finish deteriorates on them quickly in spite of following directions for using wood/plastic utensils, lower heat, and careful cleaning. The only thing lacking is a lid and none of the lids from my other pans fit. You can't go wrong with this Amazon pan if you follow the directions for use and care. Great hard anodized nonstick fry pan for the money.

"Brown the meat in batches"? Not with this pan!!
I made meatballs today. Most of the time I need to brown them in 2 or 3 batches. Not in this skillet!! Plenty of room to cook everything, all at once. Larger surface area means sauces reduce more quickly. And it cleans up like a dream. It's a beast! I had to move stuff around to store it. And I wish I'd bought one with a lid. But I'm telling you, I wish I'd bought this thing years ago.

This pan works really well, and it's absolutely HUGE. I wanted a giant pan and I got exactly that. For the price it's good value. Its super light and it will start to distort if overheated. BUT, when this pan starts to warp the center raises up instead of dropping down! It sits level when the metal expands and continues to cook evenly, this was a big positive surprise for me. When it cools, it goes right back to it's original shape. Distortion when hot is about 3/16 of an inch, if you are frying with oil the oil will go to the outside and the center will have no oil because of the upward deflection from metal expansion. Personally I really like it, it's non stick so you don't need oil. Great for pancakes, you can make a ton of them at once. Also great for eggs, ground beef, pasta sauce, etc.

Great for frying fish for the whole family at the same time. Does a good job on browning.
