Great Tambourine!
This tambourine is exactly what I was looking for. It has great sound, and at a low price you simply can't beat it. No, this wont be the tambourine you pass down to your children, but it is great to use and abuse. I used this to play a live show, and was able to wedge it under my shoe and play with my foot. The attachment to use it on a drum set is also extremely useful, and could be great for a touring musician.Pros:Great SoundDurable ConstructionMountableCons:None for the price! This is a great tambourine for beginners and professionals alike.

This is one of the better sounding mounted tambourines that I have played
This is one of the better sounding mounted tambourines that I have played. It is smooth and as noted by others, the rubber strike guard prevents the plastic clicking sound, when struck by a drumstick. If you prefer the click sound when striking the tambourine, you can still find some areas to achieve that sound as well. It's a smooth sounding unit, great for a church. I use it in a Church that seats, maybe 200 people and the volume is about right. I will say that in some ways it is on the quiet side, so if you use it in a large setting or in a situation where your band mates are quite amplified, then you will need to mic this unit to hear it. I play it un-miked, in a mellow Church band (piano, 2 guitarist, bassist) and it works well.

Well Made and Sturdy
This Tamborine will stand up to constant use as accent beats to your hi-hat or take the bracket off and use it as a hand held unit. The rubber sweet spot along the top rim helps protect the plastic frame from an overly enthusiastic hit with the drumstick. Good value, Good sound, Good price - Nicely done!

I love tambourines
It worked well for rigging it into a kick pedal while playing cajon. Sounds good, not great, it's not the best to hit with a stick, even on the padded rim. It's pretty heavy on the hi-hats as well. It's basically getting what you paid for and overall I don't regret going with the cheaper option since I don't use it a ton.
