Kasimir colored pencils

I just received The Raniaco Art Colored Pencils and couldn't wait to try them out. They work just like regular colored pencils until you add water. The watercolor pencil set also included a brush. They work ok as colored pencils but using them as watercolors is where they shined. I tried them out in the Vive Le Colour Flowers coloring book. After coloring in my flowers I went over them with a small amount of water using the enclosed brush and the colors deepened and intensified. Dipping the tip of the pencils in water allowed me to go in and add detail with deeply saturated color. I was also able to color on a separate sheet and pick up the color with my watercolor brush and use it that way. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase. It is a great set to try watercolor pencils. You get a nice range of colors at what I considered a reasonable price. You just have to make sure you are using appropriate paper that will withstand the use of water on the paper.

These pencils are very nice. The 48 colors are a really nice selection. They arrived very quickly, in good condition and pre-sharpened. They color smoothly and blend well. They are water soluble and that feature works well also with this product. They are easy to sharpen without breakage. While they are not the more pricey name brand, I think these pencils work very well at a great price. The box however isn't very sturdy and makes for removing them and putting back hard, but for the quality it's a easy fix to put them in another container. They also come with a brush. Customer service is great, if there is an issue they take care of it immediately. The set came with a variety of colors and a brush. The brush wasn't the best, but I wasn't upset over that because I have quite a few. I really like the quality of the color pencils, they're nice and smooth and the colors come out pretty vibrant when blending them out with water. I have another brand of watercolor pencils, butI like these better. I normally save up and buy the more expensive brands of art supplies, but I found this to make me just as happy for a fraction of the price.

I'm not an artist by any means...just a grandma who recently discovered "adult" coloring books and find the experience relaxing. I have accumulated a variety of colored pencils, crayons, and markers. When Amazon offered these pencils as a daily special I decided to try them. First, they were shipped promptly in an attractive box. Not having used oil based pencils before, I was pleased to have some instructions for using them written clearly on the box. It was a lazy Saturday afternoon so I decided to try them out. Oh, my goodness! I'm amazed at the effect achieved with a little water and the quality brush included with the pencils... crisp sharp colors or subtle shading. I proudly showed my grandchildren who immediately tried them out. I think I may have to get some more ... in the meantime, I'm hanging my work on the refrigerator!

These colored pencils were purchased for the intent to be a gift for a friend, however I am not able to gift them. The outside packaging was dirty and colored pencils were falling out of the box when received. Some of the pencils appeared used, and looked as if they were forced back into the box without trying to fit them back in nicely. I guess they are acceptable if you'll be using them personally, however, not for gifts.

These were for my wife who, like so many adults, are finding that coloring is a great way to relax. She wanted something that was better than her first purchase from the dollar store. Those were so soft that they kept breaking and trying to sharpen, would break again. These do not have that issue. They are not too hard that they push through the paper and retain their sharpening for good while.

They are lovely pencils. I gave them to a bride-to-be who has a few months to go before the wedding. I thought she might enjoy coloring sketches of brides from all over the world in an adult coloring book. She opened the pencils first (at the bridal shower) and loved the pencils before she even saw the coloring book. I know she will have a good time with them.The pencils came in a very quickly. I'm quite happy with the purchase

I recently caved and got into the adult coloring book fad so I needed some colored pencils! This is a great set. The pencils color smoothly and with little effort. They sharpen well without being too sharp and hard that they rip the paper when coloring roughly. The smoothness of the color enhances the calmness of the activity and I've found that the colors are easy to shade and easy to blend with others.
