This product is a must with our changing rainfall these days and you can use them outside or in. I originally bought one at a local d.i.y store to keep rain water from entering my garage, then I couldn't find them again until I saw them on Amazon. This product works great. Our driveway slopes down towards the house and no more water enters underneath the garage door now. My neighbour's tenants had some flooding with water coming over the track on their the sliding door in the back. I took one of these Quick Dams over and it helped them tremendously. I also let another neighbour know how good they are and she is using it to keep water out of her garage too. Whenever I know a storm is coming, I lay these barriers down beforehand. Just keep in mind that they should be laying flat to dry out so the gel inside does fall all to one end, turn them over regularly, and keep them out of the hot sun when drying. It can take even a few months for them to dry completely depending on how much water they had to absorb. You can use them over and over again. They can also be stacked on top of each other if water levels rise above an inch or so. I wouldn't be without them and it's nice to know that instead of running around trying to find a store that has them, I can buy 4 or more at a time right on Amazon.

These are fantastic...they do exactly what they are meant to do and can let them dry out several times to be reused.....highly recommend and very pleased with performance of product...no water is getting past these

These are great and do as described. Used in a recent rain event and kept water away from the area needed. They take awhile to expand and will take a long time to dry out and inflate but can then be rolled up again when flat.

We use these in our back yard in an area where water tends to pool after a heavy rain. It's nice to not have to worry about water in your basement whenever it storms. Hold alot of water and aren't even very noticeable. We have also used them to protect our water heater's wick from getting wet and making the alarm go off during heavy rains. Great product!
