Good value for the money, with some minor flaws
This pedal board is quite solid, and the quality of the bag is quite good. For what I paid, it was a good deal, and met my specific needs. However, along with the good points, there were some issues. Here are the good points:-- Solid contruction, although heavy. When loaded up with pedals, etc, it will have some heft to it.-- composite wood contruction allows for screwing things in place, easily drilling holes where required, etc. This is great for customization.-- The wood construction won't interfere with wireless receivers (such as the Line 6 G30 product) which have internal antennae in the base of the receiver. Metal frame pedalboards can sometimes cause issues with the G30.-- The pedalboard is sloped, which not only makes pedal access easier, but also provides a handy place underneath for attaching power strips, DC power supplies, etc. The board comes with screws already in place underneath for attaching Gator's own optional multi-pedal power supplies.-- The pedalboard is easily removed from the bag.-- The bag quality is good, which strong zippers which operate quite easily.-- There are two roomy, sturdy pockets for extra cables, etc.-- There is a sturdy carrying handle on top edge of the board, which sticks up through the bag for carrying the board in the bag. Now, here are the negative points:-- The Tolex-type black material covering much of the board did not have tight seams. In the corners, you could see exposed wood at the seams. I used a black "Sharpie" brand marker to cover the exposed wood so that the seams would not be visible.-- There were some "bumps" under the Tolex covering in a few places, which indicates that there may have been some surface defects in the wood, or glue bumps, in those areas. Not a big deal, but evidence of shoddy workmanship when applying the Tolex covering.-- The biggest functional issue was that the "loop" material (which covers the entire top of the board) was lifting up at some of the seams. The material is actually composed of several wide strips, butted up against each other. The loop material was actually pretty easily fixed. I pressed it back down into place (it still seemed to have sufficient tackiness to the adhesive); then, to ensure that it stayed fastened properly to the pedalboard, I took a industrial stapler (the type used for fastening upholstery, etc) and stapled along all the seams, with a staple straddling a seam every 5 or 6 inches. I also stapled along the outside edges of the loop material covered area. This worked very well. I've had no problems since then with any of the material pulling up, even with some heavy equipment Velco'ed onto the pedalboard.I then took the same black "Sharpie" marker and colored over the top of the staples, so that they mostly disappear into the loop material background.Final analysis: although I had to do some "improvements" to the product, I would buy it again if I needed a second one. For the money and my needs, it is a good value.

Great board for the price!
Great solution for what I was looking for. I found myself going back to basics and playing some small club gigs with a blues jr, Casino, and SG. I needed a solution for a basic board to give me what I needed without the expense or hassle of taking a full touring rig out. I have mounted a PolyTune Mini, Crybaby, Full Drive 2, Carbon Copy, TC Spark (mini), and a loop switch to control the Spark and CC, along with a Godlyke Powerall for the juice and I have plenty of room to spare.Construction is solid. I don't see me jumping around on a club stage so no worries about breaking it. Board is plywood wrapped in tolex so it is a bit heavier than others. The particular one I received looked like the tolex could have been wrapped a little better, but this is all about function, not beauty. Thanks to the slight angle, I can throw a couple things under the front of the board in the case, as well as in the front pocket.I have two minor complaints that are in no way deal breakers given the purpose and cost of this board but may be for you:1. I don't care for the handle on the front of the board. The handle for carrying this once in the case comes through the case and is attached to the board. Maybe its from years of touring, but I like to have things full enclosed to prevent the elements from getting in. Not a huge deal at all, just a minor inconvenience that I can certainly live with for the price.2. There is no shoulder strap on the bag. Again, for small club gigs where I take a blues jr. and 1, maybe 2 guitars, it would be nice to just sling this thing over my shoulder and have hands free for amp/guitar.

BigBoard
I finally shelled out and bought a board. In the past as my pedal collection has grown i have built boards that would just fit my setup. All the boards I built i never had a suitable case to tote my pedals to rehearsals and gigs. The pedals I have on the board:Korg tuner, Vox wah, Big Muff, Blues driver, DS-1, Electro-harmonix Memory Boy, Boss Flanger, TC Electronic Flashback, Fender 2-button foot-switch, and room to spare. They are connected with standard planet waves patch cables that do take up a lot of space. The power supply works fine with no problems. Like others had said it did only come with one 18v cables and there are 3 18v ports. My tuner is in the bottom right corner of my board and my power is on the left side. The power cable could not be tucked along the pedals like all the other cables because its not long enough, so it has to run diagonally along the top section of the board above the Wah and Big Muff and i just put a piece of velcro overtop so it doesn't move around. All my power cables under the board are nice and neat because of the few small strips of velcro to secure them to the wood. There was a small box that connects the wall plug to the power supply that i was unaware of. It is a bit smaller than a pedal so i mounted it with velcro to the top so i could easily plug and unplug the cable that runs to the outlet. This looked surprisingly big when i received it in the mail but once all the pedals were hooked up it fit just right. I think this board is a good stoping point for me in buying pedals when i fill it up, and i do plan to do so when i get a second power supply. The bag is what makes it though. With out the bag it would just be a simple piece of wood that i would never put out 150 on.

Frustrating!
The only thing that has redeemed this item for me is the incredible price. The board itself though sturdy in construction is heavy and at the end of the day is a bit of black ply wood painted up with some tolex and velcro stuck the top. Good luck receiving it without a small dent (bit my tongue with that). It has a good amounts of room however the only access to run cables below are 2 small slots at the top of the board. The most disappointing thing is that my power unit (decibel eleven hot stone) does not fit underneath there is simply not enough ground clearance on the front wedge so will be investing in some feet to hopefully raise it high enough. If this wasnt 45% reduced I would be kicking myself for not going for a pedal train. However for the price I paid and hopefully a few minor alterations it may well do the job.I would stress to anyone buying to leave room for your DC unit just incase! All in all a fair product for what I paid for but not likely to recommended at full price

Poorly made and weak joints.
This is a heavy bit of kit which looks good initially but soon you realise that the front section of the board (the bit with the handle) is held on to the rest of the board by 3 thin staples and some very weak glue. This simply came apart on my living room floor from just sticking on the pedals. If you consider that you are likely to have say 8 effects pedals on this then the handle will be lifting an extra 4 or 5 lbs all reliant on 3 staples! No chance.I waited weeks for this to come in to stock and so I have had to re glue the front panel myself using decent adhesive and put two screws through the front to secure it. Theres no way you could lift the board using the handle when its loaded with pedals. Buy an aluminium board instead.

Works a treat.
I really feel at home with this product as it's not too large but also takes my five pedals with room to spare for a wah pedal and one other as well. The carry bag is good quality as well and everything stays in place when the pedal board is put in the bag. Great product recommended.

Fit everything I need
As a a musician that uses looping and midi for most of my set I struggled to find a board that would handle what I needed this board although fairly simply. It is just a wooden board covers in Velcro. Fit everything is easy to transport for its size. The bag it comes with is really strong and better than I expected. Great board for my needs

Great value! I wanted to build a home studio ...
Great value!I wanted to build a home studio tone lab that allowed me to place a larger range of pedals than I would use for gigging: this fits the bill perfectly. I am using a 3amp Diageo PowerStation that velcroed comfortable underneath. I have 12 pedals on the board currently and the modulation train is all stereo. I also wanted to be able to put it away in its bag occasionally and on some occasions take it to a rehearsal studio... Job Done!
