Impressive Brightness Boost, But Expect a Shorter Lifespan
The Philips X-tremeVision Pro150 H7 headlight bulb is a highly capable upgrade option if you are looking to replace a blown factory bulb and instantly boost your night-time road visibility. Having fitted this to a BMW 3 Series after the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) bulb failed, the increase in raw light output is immediately noticeable. It projects a significantly stronger, longer beam down the tarmac compared to a standard, budget H7 halogen bulb. However, that intense illumination comes with two distinct caveats. Firstly, the beam colour is only a marginally cleaner white than a standard yellow halogen; do not buy these expecting the ultra-crisp, ice-blue aesthetic of a true modern Xenon or factory LED system. Secondly, because the internal filament is driven much harder to produce that extra 150% brightness, it burns through its operational lifespan much faster than a standard factory bulb. It is a fantastic choice for superior nighttime safety, provided you are comfortable changing them out a bit more frequently.

So far, so good!
This is a limited review. Longevity remains to be seen! However, based on brightness and 'throw of light', these X-tremeVision Pro150 H7 are good. Fitted during UK's winter, they've already been put to good use during dark mornings and dusky to dark evenings. They light the road ahead for sure! But what about oncoming traffic? As a previous user of Osram Night Breaker Laser H7 second (next) generation (+150%) bulbs, each journey during dusky or dark times would result in being flashed by other vehicles. Not constantly, but even once per journey was a concern. But these Philips X-tremeVision Pro150 bulbs have not yet resulted in the same, so the beam throw must be better?! As for longevity, the jury is now out. And the bar is high...

good headlights - not sure they're THAT much brighter than stock however
Bought these to upgrade the stock dipped and main beams on my T-Roc. They're good but i cant say I've noticed THAT much difference. Havent tested them in anger on the motorway at night though - so that might just be me being a little 'previous'. Had these before and liked them. They outlived my previous car so, from experience, can say that they do last a relatively long time. Overall happy. If you're lookking for bulbs to mach LED running lights - these ain't for you. They're definitely on the warmer not the cooler side. Performance is good - not sure about the claim of 150% better vision though. seems a tad on the high side if you ask me.

Mine last approx 11months before failing
I've gone back through my purchase history and these bulbs only last 11 months before failing. I think Philips quality control must be very poor, they used to be a good company. The bulbs are brighter whilst driving than the bulbs they replaced, but not good value for money 😥

Good delivery
I always change both bulbs and keep the good old one as a spare so I can't “compare” one lamp to another. I can't say if they give all the luma promised but I'm satisfied with them. They have been in since Nov. 23 without any problem. I would buy them again.

Ilumina mais
Realmente ilumina um pouco mais, vale a pena. Não chega a ser uma luz branca, mas é menos amarelada que a comum. Recomendo.

Bright Every Time !!!
This is a bright bulb. Best not to look straight at it when it turns on. Because it turns on every time I start the motorcycle it's in. It costs more than others but seems to weather the literal storms and submergences that the bike has been through crossing streams. Hope I don't need to buy it again, but I will if I manage to extinguish these.
