how much of the desk lip/edge do I need to properly clamp the stand? I have a only a one and a half inch clearance on the edge of the desk

I mounted on my desk with 2-1/4" edge/lip and it's sturdy when snug with two 7-lb 22" LED (Viewsonic VX2250wm) monitors. Not ideal, but ok for sure. I'd advise 2-1/2 inches minimum if mounting two heavier monitors as it will give more clamp surface area.

How do I adjust the height of just one side? On my setup the left arm hangs slightly lower than the right (about a quarter of an inch)

VIVO Height Adjustable VESA Adapter Accessory Bracket Kit for Individual Monitor 13" to 27" Screens (Stand-VAD3) this solved my problem. Had two different manufactures monitors and different plate placement as a result right monitor hung about 1.5 in shorter then the left. used this adapter and they are both level now. kudo's to VIVO for making it I looked everywere for one of these and it would seem they are the only one's who make an option like this.

How do I fix the arms from sliding down the pole? I tightened the screw in the back as much as I possibly can.

If not, inserting it through the other side may fix the problem.Is the plastic insert properly installed in the center bracket? Hi, i have the hp pavilion 21.5" monitors. i don't see any screwing options/holes on the back of my monitors. how to use this mount?

Quality not good as expected

I just received this dual monitor mount to be used with my two 27" monitors. Apparently, the quality is not as good as described in the product description and the Arm can't hold up my monitors. The two monitors continue to tilt downwards even if I make sure to adjust correctly with the Allen key. I have tried several times, the same results.

This item is so good, I ended buying two of them. I loved the first one so much that when I needed another one, I chose this one. First for functionality - it either mounts with the included clamps or you can use an access hole to secure it, which is what I needed to do with this one and my desk was too thick for the standard clamp. The price of this is superior. It is a great value for the price and under $30 really hits the spot. It is easy to assemble and the instructions are super easy to follow. I have 2 27" curved monitors I am using with it and it is VERY STURDY - NO SHAKING. 5 STARS!!! Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly. I clearly specify why any stars were removed, since what bothered me might not mean anything to another purchaser.
