This is better than Nature Force Clean Coffee Dark Roast and is cheaper. In fact the Medium Roast version is even better than the Dark Roast version of this coffee. Finally coffee high in antioxidants that actually taste good black like specialty coffee rather than tasting like generic coffee you can find in the grocery store like Community Coffee or Folgers Coffee. Have not experienced good tasting coffee high in antioxidants since Life Extensions discontinued their Rich Rewards coffee, which they replaced with Rainforest Blend that sucks. Will be ordering again once my ground coffee bags finish.

Most coffees I can't drink black. I have to at least add some kind of sweetener to counteract the bitterness. I make this cold press overnight, and there is no bitterness or acidity. It actually tastes pretty good, it smells lovely, and I can drink it black, though I usually choose not to. If you make it hot, I notice there is a bit more of the bitterness than if you cold press like I do. It still isn't too bad if I do. I usually only make hot coffee if I'm in a hurry, since I prefer my coffee iced.The coffee is expensive if you buy the 12 oz bag, so I buy the 5lb bag to help save on the cost.

I drink my coffee black, and this is the best coffee I have ever tasted! It is so flavorful, smooth, and no bitterness at all.

I’m enjoying my morning cup of this delicious, non-acid & smooth tasting coffee as I write this review. For years I would have a cup of coffee with breakfast before work, but often felt “not well.” I started researching non-organic & organic coffee. Yikes! Reading the growing process of non-organic/chemical coffee, “sewer sludge” was listed as one of the components of the soil!! I purchased another organic & chemical free decaf coffee but was disappointed as it tasted weak. I read about The Clean Coffee Co. I purchased the medium roast, non-decaf coffee, whole bean. I love the taste but need to use 2 scoops of freshly ground beans. I will order again but will purchase dark roast.

I ordered the medium roast 3 times. The first two orders tasted fine, but the third order didn't taste as good. I also had one of my orders arrive with the bag open. Amazon said they would credit my account, but never did. I figured that since the taste was on the weak side I would order the dark roast for a more bold flavor. I was wrong, the dark roast was also weak. I will be trying a different brand the next time I order coffee. The one good thing is that this coffee didn't give me heart burn.

I rated this coffee low for one specific reason. First, the flavor. It was AMAZING!! Smooth, rich without being too strong. Just the way I like it. I was convinced I had found my new low acid coffee bean!! Then, my $6,000 Jura machine started making really bad sounds after I had dumped some beans from the bag into the hopper. When I pulled out the grounds container in my machine, I found a piece of what looked like a twig or thick stem amongst the grounds. I quickly pulled out the beans I had poured in the hopper & dumped them along with the rest of the beans in the bag into a bowl where I closely inspected them. I found more pieces of wood (or what I believe was wood). The only good thing that came out of this experience is that my VERY EXPENSIVE Jura machine was not ruined. I am sending it in for full cleaning & inspection since it continues to make odd noises at times but I'm hopeful it's just the years of use & not something damaged by having wood go through the grinder. Sad that this is the report since the coffee was spectacular. I guess if you're willing to inspect every bag & you grind your coffee separately, this might work for you but I won't risk it again.

Bought these for the organic/health factor and will keep buying for the taste!
