TOPSEAT Ergonomia Solid Oak Toilet Seat, Round, Chromed Metal Hinges

It is what it says it is, a wooden toilet seat, plywood, cut, no contouring. The seat fits, but it is a flat surface with a hole cut in the middle, could be replicated in a shop class. Nothing fancy, functional, you can be assured it will not peel like veneer products, swell like pressed wood products, but do not be expecting an aesthetically pleasing item.

the absolute best toilet seat ever.I have had this seat now for 5 years it is steal perfect.I have in 2 bathrooms 1 round &1 elongated they are there best.The seats are never cold.

I bought one. This is plywood, not solid oak. It is uncomfortable to sit on (not ergonomic to my anatomy... sharp edge hits the tailbone at the back of the seat). The cover appears to be assembled upside down at the factory, with the concave side facing up, convex side facing down toward the toilet bowl. The concave surface on top may be comfortable to sit on with the seat closed, unless it has accumulated water, dust or other dirt, which it should hold quite well. Weird seat, wasted purchase.

edges are a little too "tight", not rounded off, but hey, it serves its purpose

Bought for my boss (BIG GUY) and it has lasted more than two weeks:-)!

This item arrived with missing pieces. Sadly, I was not able to install until several moths after receipt, now I am unable to contact seller. This is weird design. The top is concave, unlike traditional seats with a dome top. It also appears like it is made out of plywood. Wish I had looked more closely at it when it arrived.

Grandkids love it!It's a bit more work to install. I removed all of the wood screws, assembled the hinges onto the toilet, then reinstalled the wood screws.
