Thick and sticky
A tongue depresser is not strong enough to mix part A and B, but can be used to transfer the product onto a cardboard mixing pad. Plastic disposable spatulas can be used to properly mix the pastes if you use it like a snow shovel and scrape each paste from the cardboard. I found it difficult to apply because it is so sticky but will stay where you place it. I used painters, tape along the margins to make nice clean lines of application. I might have spent 1-2 minutes mixing and finished my application within 5 minutes from the start of the mixing. By that time, application was becoming difficult in the shady 55° environment. The total volume of the mixed paste A and B was smaller than of a tennis ball. Great product.

Beware, read the entire review.
I’m going to break my review into three parts; 1. Initial mixing and application; 2. Drying and form ability, and 3. Sanding and painting. 1. Accustomed to working with bondo and fiberglass, this stuff is worse, harder to spread, and the coverage was less than desirable. I would not recommend using this product unless you are very familiar with doing extensive body work. It spreads like frozen bondo. I did an 18”x 24” test area on the bottom of an old canoe made of plastic. My arms are tired after doing the test area and I don’t look forward to doing the remaining bottom of the canoe.

Best for fixing a rust damaged patio door
I used this putty in small chunks (every time measuring equal weight of A and B components - use small plastic spoons to take components and a kitchen scale for measuring - then mixing them in a new small container) and it worked very well. I was able to fix a number of holes around my house, and the highlight is a steel patio door that had holes from rust. For this door I first used rust reformer to prevent rust progress, then next day filled holes with this putty, let it harden for a day or two, then smoothed the surface and painted. During application be sure you have plenty of paper towels and several plastic putty knives,. I used WD-40 to moisture and isolate plastic putty from gluing with the putty. WD-40 oiled knife helps with smoothing the putty surface too. Have patience and be persistent in smoothing: it takes good half hour to smooth the surface and get it right. The putty starts hardening after about half hour.

Good Product but it is not what you think it might be.
The product was not what I thought it was, but it is an epoxy based BONDO type filler that looks like it will do well as a sub-base to the inside of my wet area of my swamp cooler in the corners and to smooth out the laps and seams. The ad makes it appear to be a coating material but it is a 2 part paste product that has about 30 minutes of working time at 90 degrees temp. Once hardened after 24 hours, it can be sanded with a electric sander or by hand sanding with no build-up or smearing. It appears to have some limited flexibility once cured, I would recommend this product as lomg as the end user understands that this coating is NOT a two part epoxy paint. But the way finished off the inside of the cooler with bed liner paint.
