This is the first mechanical keyboard that I have owned, and it has served me very well for 9 months to date. The blue switches are loud and responsive. My typing has increased exponentially in both speed and accuracy since using this keyboard. Typing is actually kind of fun when your keyboard sounds like a typewriter. You will know immediately whether your keystroke is registered, both by the sound made when you press the key and by the very small bit of resistance you feel when you press the key past the point of actuation. The volume control knob is top tier, and I never want to go back to traditional volume up and down buttons. For a sub-$30 keyboard, this has surpassed all expectations. It is fairly heavy, very stable, and it is definitely not going anywhere even if you are a very heavy and aggressive typist. I have seen several people complaining about the brightness of the LED backlights (not of the actual keys, but of the indicating lights on the calculator, mute, and power off buttons) and to those people I ask: what more could you possibly expect from a $30 keyboard? The RGB lights on the keys themselves are fully customizable with 3 changeable presets, and the ability to create macro keys. For the first additional comment, I have used this keyboard in a college dorm and it will wake up anyone who is in the same room as you while you are typing. However, if you close the door to your room, it is not loud enough to hear on the other side of the door. The second additional comment is that you must fully close the Stoga RGB software once you have programmed your RGB patterns and macro keys. If you leave the software open and running in the background, there is a small chance your computer may crash and have to restart. This happened to me several times, but once I fully closed the application, the issue has not happened a single time. Remember to find the icon in your taskbar at the bottom of the screen, right click, and click close on the program. If you remember to do that, you'll be fine, and you only have to perform those steps if you install and open the program manually, it does not install or open itself automatically. I manually downloaded the program from Stoga's website. Review: Very well built and great quality for the price! And HEAVY!!!!!! - If you're looking for a gaming keyboard that could very-well double for a blunt weapon in a pinch, then STOGA has you covered! The quality of the keyboard is very nice for it's small price. The customized lighting and macro software for it is easy to use as well. I already ordered some translucent pudding keycaps for mine so that I can see them in all lighting conditions.

Well-built High Quality
First thing you notice is the tactile feel of the keyboard....it's pleasantly clicky, as in a smooth kind of a click. Next is the many RGB lighting effects options...it has a few. Another cool feature is the volume scroller, which is very convenient for gaming or listening to music. Lastly is the quality of printing on the keys. They haven't fades at all and I've played my share of FPS' using WASD. Overall, this is a must buy if you value quality at an affordable price. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect keyboard for a professional writer and gaming enthusiast.
I am a professional writer and my old keyboards were missing strokes and giving me hand cramps. I can now work from sun up to sundown and my hands/wrists never hurt. It's got a loud mechanical sound but I don't care because it works so well. The software allows you to adjust the color/brightness which is really nice. I use the volume scroll, calculator button and sleep button every day. Its small enough to fit in my backpack. The keys fall off easily in a bag so be sure to get a travel case if you plan to bring it with you. I plug it into my tablet when I travel and use it on planes or at cafes if I have a lot of writing to do. If you hit ESC or arrow keys really hard they fly off sometimes but otherwise its been a dream.

Awesome keyboard
I love how small, and compact the keyboard is! I have a small desk space so it fits perfectly. I spent so much time picking out the right lighting setup for me. There are so many to choose from. I'm someone who loves customization, and this keyboard hasn't let me down. You can even change the lighting to make it brighter or darker, and make the lighting move faster or slower. The keys are very clicky, but not extremely loud. I love the price point as well. I'm super happy with my purchase!

Nice switches, compact layout, and RGB lighting effects but its glitchy.
When I originally ordered the STOGA 87 key mechanical keyboard with generic blue switches, it was listed at around $85. Since then the manufacturer has dropped the price down to $51.99, a price that makes this good value for those interested in an entry-level mechanical keyboard that brings the usual bells and whistles to the table. RGB Led lighting offers the ability to set static colors or animations of a wide variety. PROS: 1. Good TKL layout. 2. Excellent keycaps feel great while typing and look amazing with the led animations. 3. Generic blue switches perform well. 4. Removable USB-C to USB-A cable. 5. Programmable. CONS: 1. Original price of $80 (ish) is a little high for what this keeb has to offer. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for it, because if you're able to pay more than that you can find a really nice keyboard. 2. N-key rollover randomly stops workign. 3. LED backlighting randomly turns off for no reason. 4. Case and keyboard body is all plastic and sort of cheap feeling. BOTTOM LINE: Good entry into the world of mechanical keyboards with nice keycaps and great LED effects along with the ability to set macros.

Perfect keyboard!
My hands are slightly larger than average and that isn't the keyboards fault. Other than that. The quality of the keyboard is amazing. I have been using it for classes and have had no problems. Multiple color modes help type in the dark. Keyboard is nice and loud with the clicks and clacks. I suppose that would be a warning. If you need a quiet keyboard search elsewhere! Will be buying this brand again I'm sure.

I was looking for a work and gaming keyboard, mechanical keyboards are usually made cheap.. break easily. I have to say I have not had any problems using this. Its nice and heavy which I love from experience buying other keyboards like this in the past.. where I have to move it around as it slides all the time... really annoying. But this one stays in place, the colors are super nice and the keys are nice to the touch, they do not stick or anything. I would recommend it for the price i think it works if you do not want to pay 100's of dollars.. however, if you are a hard core gamer I am not sure how it will last. I use it everyday. I have been using it for 4 months, no issues.

I have been using this keyboard for over a week now and wish I bought it earlier. The keys are well built and so is the rest of the keyboard. I've used other mechanical keyboards and find that this is the best sounding keyboard (if that what you're after đ). The size and positions of the keys are perfectly placed, so it's easy to type with. There are many RGB lighting styles that you can choice from based on your taste. The multi-media keys (shutdown, sleep, search, and calculator) on the top left is a great feature, along with the mute and volume control on the right. This keyboard exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and Iâm really enjoying it! Itâs comfortable to use, the keys are super responsive, and the âclickâ is definitely satisfying to hear. There are multimedia shortcuts at the top, and a volume scroll wheel which is convenient to use. The keyboard itself is surprisingly heavier than I expected it to be, itâs nice and sturdy, it doesnât feel cheaply made at all. The RGB backlights are incredible, I actually wasnât expecting to be able to customize the colour of each key, but itâs possible. It also comes with some cool presets you can see in my video. Overall I am very satisfied with this keyboard, itâs really great for its price range, I highly recommend it!

***FYI: The USB cable supplied has a USB-C end which plugs into the keyboard, and a USB-A end which plugs into the PC. Wish it was mentioned in the product description to save me buying a USB-C to USB-A adapter...*** I almost returned this. I've only had one other mechanical keyboard and it was a budget one off Amazon (which kicked the bucket after just 6 months), so who knows, maybe this is how an actual mechanical keyboard is supposed to feel like? But compared to that one, the keys on this are noticeably stiffer. This isn't an issue when normal key-pressing, in fact, single presses such as when typing are extremely satisfying. However, using the "W" key for prolonged periods when walking in games requires applying a consciously sustained, comparatively higher pressure because there is quite a bit of 'push-back.' After the first hour, my middle finger actually felt fatigued! BUT - it's beautiful. The weight is awesome. The RGB is mesmerising. The design is great and the whole thing feels premium. The volume scroll is superb. For these reasons, I decided to keep using it for a few more hours and, after about 6 hours, I realised I stopped having to consciously apply the correct pressure on the WSAD keys. So I'm keeping it, not because the issue has been resolved per se, but I got used to it. Maybe you will, too. But just keep this in mind when deciding to buy.

Great keyboard. My first mechanical keyboard and itâs great! The build quality is amazing to where the keyboard feels almost indestructible. I love the click sound of the keys when you press them and the lighting modes really make it complete. The removable usb c cable makes it very easy to travel with! Overall this keyboard is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great budget keyboard for gaming or just anyone who seeks the loud click of blue switches!
