Rigid design, will not bend.3.) No odd smells, no black smudging from product.:: CONS ::1.) Useless to cover Crown Victoria body holes on Police Interceptors/Taxi Cabs/Etc.2.) NOT flexible, maybe not designed to be flexible, but these don't give!3.) The dimensional tolerances are tight, there is very little 'edge/rim' on these.Effectively these have super limited purpose, if your looking for creative solution to a automotive "External" cover, these won't cut it. IF you know what your dimensions are then these are well made. (The item description of Auto-body use seems exaggerated a bit in my opinion ;)

I bought these because I have an 1.5" hole on the rear hatch of my 2003 Sequoia. The sizing shows that there was a 1.5" plug in the set but that measurement is taken from the outside of the upper section of the plug and not what size hole it fits. The 1.5" plug was too small, it would probably fit a 1.25" hole but the 1.75" plug was too big. It would be very helpful if the seller would not just list an outside dimension but what size hole each of the plugs will fit.

I restore old cars from the 50s and 60s that are very unusual or rare. Many of the small parts I need (like plugs) are made of 'unobtainium' and require months (or sometimes years) of searching for suitable replacements. Often there aren't any aftermarket parts available, and if I'm lucky enough to find plastic and rubber NOS parts from the 50s and 60s, they are often to brittle or fragile because of their age. While not authentic replacement parts, this set had several plugs that worked well for a couple of my projects. I may purchase another set to replace the three plugs I've used and so that I have some backup sizes.
