I have been installing keel guards like this for 25 years and like the ones before, this guard is on point for protection and quality of material.I would like to offer a couple hints to help you get more from this product.1. Buy longer than you think you need.I typically run the full length of the keel. Why? I have found that yhe more tou protect the better off you water craft is going to be. If you ever come ashore on sand, you may want to spin around to leave or you get caught with dropping tide... the extra protection never hurts anything.2. Installation made super simple.Take wide blue painters tape and make a copy of the keel guard by laying out the blue tape on the rubber side of the material (not the adhesive side). Why? Well when your trying to measure 5" width on a keel (a curved surface) you will never hit the exact size. By making a tape copy of the actual guard you can lay that out on your boat...then mark the outside edge of this with blue tape. When you remove the copy, you are left with the exact size of the area the keel guard will occupy. You can then scuff the area and apply the primer in full confidence you have only roughed the area up your keel guard will occupy.As for this actual product, I just installed on a 23' Seadoo GTX 300 Ltd. The process took 3 hrs and using the method above, it was an exact fit.Again, top product that will give you years of use.

Do not hesitate to buy this. Install is only difficult because you have to climb under the boat numerous times. Nothing difficult about this product. I followed the directions and watched the video a few times. I sanded with 300 grit and then went over with the provided red pad. Cleaned the surface 10x over with multiple towel types until nothing came off. This product uses the same 3m adhesive as any other brand. Trust me when I say you get “one chance” at installing this correctly. The product contoured very well. Even around the back area where my hull goes from one keel to two. I ordered an 8’ for a 19’ Triton and could’ve gotten away with a 7’ all day. I did not cut the product and opted to install the extra 1’. In the end I sealed the edges with some 3m adhesive sealer. I doubt this products coming off any time soon but time will tell.

This is my 3rd time purchasing this brand Keel guard, I have always had good luck with them. I've installed these on two jetskis and a boat, all have benefited from the additional protection, especially when beaching or going into shallow areas. I have yet to ever have an issue with any of these I've installed, they are extremely durable when installed properly!Cheapest price I found on the net was here on Amazon. Installation really isn't that difficult, just take your time and prep the boat well so you get good adhesion.Fit perfect based off the length guidelines, I have a 19' foot boat and this got me to about the middle where the keel starts to become less aggressive.Color is a light blue compared to the dark blue show on the listing and box, slightly disappointed in that because the dark blue matched my boats color scheme.

I need to replace the keel guard on my bass boat after the original one came off (after 22 years of being on the boat). This was a perfect replacement. I watched youtube vids on the install. The installation took me around 2 hours since I was being very careful to do it correctly.One thing I didn't think worked well, was the adhesion on the strakes. I followed the instructions on how to cover the strakes. It looks like the keel guard is pulling away from the top of the strake. Maybe I did it wrong. Anyway, Megaware could have put that into one of the install videos.One of the install instructions says to outline the keel guard on your boat's keel so that you know where to scuff the finish and apply the pre-adhesive. It was a little tough crawling under the boat and trying to hold up the keel guard. It would be nice if Megaware would give a template for the buyer to use instead.Overall I am very happy with it.

Solid product with easy install. It hasn’t budged since installed!

I had to return the product as my boat hull was not suitable for the product. Wish i realized that before i bought. Shipping was prompt as was the return and refund. Very good company to do business with.

We are so happy that we ordered this product. We have an older Boston Whaler that had some keel damage from before we got her, and this Keel guard has certainly been the answer to stopping the progress of this damage as where we camp there is no moorage so the boat has to be hauled up onto the sand at the end of each day. The Keel guard was easy to apply and seems to be very secure and tight to the keel of the boat. Would certainly put this on any other boat that we might get.

サンプル写真と違い、小さな箱に詰められて送られて来ました。小さく巻かれていたので、伸ばしたり、キールに合わせてＶの字にするのが大変で、とにかく取り付けるのにとても苦労しました。テープ補強放置で、伸ばして型付けたりして、結果的には、綺麗に取り付けれたので満足です。小さい箱に入ってたからなのか？寒い日に作業したから硬かったのか？暑い日に作業行ったら柔らかく扱いやすいのかは、よく分かりません。耐久性に期待です。
