very happy, attached to my winchester 94 in a few minutes
works perfectly. seems very durable. allows me to group really well at 100 yards, probably more just havent taken the gun out further. wasnt hard to sight in. theres marks on one side of the left/right but nothing on the part that moves so i scored a line with my pocket knife so i know where it is on the lines. very happy with this.

Peep sight is perfect!
Perfect fit for my 1967 Winchester Model 94 30-30. Take the two factory screws out, drop some lock tight on the gun sight screws (that are included) and you're in business in 15 minutes! Looking forward to sighting it in. I may even have to buy another 0.50 aperture that's a bit smaller with the twilight feature. . .it sells for ~$10. If you need more than the iron sight - this is what you want.

Well worth the switch.
Item actually arrived almost a week sooner than projected and in pristine condition. Installed very easily and the adjustments are simple and solid. Both my son and I shoot the rifle more accurately and more intuitively with this sight over the factory blade. Great purchase!

Williams Aperture Sights always work well
A wonderful addition to an older Marlin 336 that is factory tapped on the side of the receiver for this sight. Sits lower than using the version that screws into the scope mount holes. The 5D is a little more trial and error to sight in over the FP, but once you're there, your there. If you're one that switches bullets weights etc like my wife changes shoes, you'd be better of the FP version and click adjustments.

Fits nicely - Looks good
The 5D series Winchester 94/36 Peep sight fit nicely on my 1983 Winchester M94. Took no time at all to install, using the pre-drilled holes that were manufactured into the rifle's receiver. Installation instructions were lacking, but it's not too hard to figure out that you've got to take the sight apart in order to install it. Am looking forward now to sighting the rifle in. Shipping was much faster than the estimate. Mine arrived a whole week early. Great job Amazon.

The finish is horrible! Windage adjustability is very limited.
This peep sight seems OK for it's intended use however, the windage screw heads are so big they actually drastically limit the amount of room for adjustment... They really didn't think of this!? Also, the finish is so ridiculously cheap that half the windage lines were rubbed off, the Williams logo has a big scratch through the middle and all corners are bare aluminum showing the paint all before even opening the package! If they would just machine the adjustment lines to where the paint on the adjustment could be recessed and paint it with a mid-grade paint it would make all the difference in the world. Package also looks like it was crushed during the shipping process which is becoming more common with Amazon in general. All in all, I believe I made the wrong decision in going with Williams over Skinner. I will most likely be returning this "made in the USA" poor quality sight because without actually stripping and repainting, it will look horrible with very little use in the brush. I would also have to locate the correct windage screws to make this adjustable because its not adjustable more that about a 16th on an inch as is.
