Relatively easy to install. Perfect fit on my older John Deere LX 277. Color was right on. Overall quality was at original equipment level.

Great fit, easy install. Make sure you take pictures for reassembly, there are a couple of small details. Also, it does not come with new hardware, save existing hardware, as well as the black deflector both will fit just fine. Total project time less than 90 minutes. I think one person could do this, but extra hands are helpful. Waiting on stickers to finish the project, but it’s fully functional.

After reading many of the other reviews I decided to buy this hood. Considerably less than any others. However I knew that I would need to cut out the center portion to make it fit my GX345 water cooled. Other than the extra effort to cut out the center portion of the hood it fit perfectly and looks great. It shipped fast and arrived undamaged.

the hood took a bit to install. Fit was very Good and looks great. Seems durable enough to last a long time .

This thing is a perfect fit. I only wish they provided new decals for it.

My lawn tractor had a heavy box fall on it and it completely demolished the John Deere original lower & upper hood. I thought this item, advertised as being for my LX277 model, would be perfect. It does indeed fit and it looks nice; however, it is not the same hood. The original lower hood covers the engine except for a cut-out hole of about 9.5" diameter, so that the foam isolator ring (which is 12" outside diameter and 9.5" inside diameter) can attach to the underside of the hood. This isolator is supposed to help keep the tractor quiet and cool. This replacement hood, though, instead of the 9.5" diameter hole, leaves out the entire approximately 14x20" rectangle. So, there is no place to attach the isolator (which I wasted money on). Consequently, the tractor is noticeably louder than it used to be. I wish this had been explained in the ad. You can see the difference in the attached photos. All said, the new hood does fit and it looks pretty as well.

We had mended the hood on my 345 Tractor so many times we couldn't fix any more brakes in it. This hood fit perfectly.

Fit my 345 just fine. Simple to and the color matched great. Looks to be similar in quality to the original. Functions same as the original. The screws for the top are not included but I had some on hand.
