Just perfect

First impression when I received this product was the smart looking packaging it came in. Opened the box and it was just as nicely packed inside. They thought of everything with this kit even a small saw to cut the sections if needed. Although it looks like the sections could also be cut with a good pair of scissors. I opted to use the double stick adhesive tape, although the kit came with screws and wall anchors as well. The sections were very easy to install and the adhesive seems to be very good. We shall see if I ever need to remove them from the wall. I was a little tricky trying to get all my cables into the concealer but I finally was able to stuff five cables in there. The covers popped on very easily and are also easy to remove it needed. The concealer pretty much disappears against my white trim and it looks great. Much better than all of the wires before. I only needed a few sections, so I have some left over for other projects if needed. Overall I found this to be a great product and great value for the money paid. Would definitely purchase again. I didn't need to cover all my wires as I have an entertainment center that covers that section up in the photo.

Good quality and works as expected. Easy to use and feels well made for the price. There are a few minor improvements that could be made, but overall I’m satisfied and would recommend it.

Pros: - Clear instructions and proper tools included. Installation is pretty straightforward but it's nice to have tips from the manufacturer and everything you need to complete the project in the box. - Organized and tidy looking and options for any right-angle corner. Doesn't flex around bullnose corners, but that wasn't an issue for my home. - Paintable! On its own, the color of the track is fine, but the ability to paint it the color of the wall is fantastic! That can't easily/safely be done to extension cords. - Cost is very reasonable. - Quality seems good. None of the parts broke during installation. I can't speak to longevity because I've only had this for short time, but since it's a stationary application, I don't foresee any issues. Cons: - Slight plastic odor that dissipates quickly. I have a sensitive nose and noticed it when I opened the box. I don't smell it in the room after installation. - 17 inch span maximum between couplings. I wish I could get a 9 foot length of raceway channel -- one that doesn't require coupling brackets every foot and a half. Probably not an issue in most applications, but I've got a long span from my lower level family room to the front door entryway to cover that runs vertically up the wall. Rationale: Having a "smart home" is great until you realize that every single component needs to be plugged into a power outlet, of which there are never enough and never in the right place. I've spent a fortune on extension cords recently -- rotating plugs, proper length, proper color + mounting along trim -- and they still look unsightly. Grrr! I would have saved myself so much time and money if I had known about this cable concealer a year ago.

Used this to hide power and input cables running to and from a wall-mounted TV and a socket on the wall. The concealers themselves look great, work well, and are easy to install. After reading reviews about people having issues with the adhesive, I opted for the screws. They were easy enough to install, but four — yes, four different screws — all broke while I was screwing them in. I was using a regular ol’ screwdriver (no power tools) and had drilled pilot holes. Still the heads snapped off. That said, the screws didn’t snap until they were far enough into the wall for the covers to still close completely. So it still looks and functions perfectly fine. I just thought it’s worth saying that should you use the screws, be careful and maybe consider using your own, stronger ones, as the included screws get the job done but are cheaply made.
