I first heard Havilah speak on Boundaries in 2017 and it changed my life. Actually, I got my life back. I was a wife, mama, and serving in my church. I didn’t realize how unhealthy my boundaries were. But I could have told you something wasn’t right. Havilahs teaching on boundaries was such a light bulb moment in my life that illuminated the exact areas that needed healing. For the first time I heard another leader in ministry that was a wife, mom, daughter and friend say things that empowered me in the exact season I found myself in.I’m a type 6 on the enneagram. I’m a feeler. I’m super empathetic. I was taught how to be faithful to God and His word and to His people but I had no understanding of healthy boundaries so I was the one who would always say yes, the one that would take the weight of any circumstance, say sorry, do all I could to resolve conflict and bring restoration. If restoration did not happen then that translated to it being my fault. Something was “wrong” with me.I was slowly crumbling inside.Havilahs teaching on boundaries changed all of that. In combination with therapy and a lot of heart work I have much healthier boundaries now! I now know what belongs to me. I have healthy no’s and strong yeses. I’m still growing but I live at peace so much more now than I did before learning about healthy boundaries.The book!! I hope everyone gets this book. I was so excited that she finally put pen to paper and created a road map for us to keep on hand! I couldn’t wait to read this book and grow deeper in healthy boundaries. It truly can change your life. It has mine.

I have been devouring this book! I was inspired to watch the online Bible study videos on YouTube by a friend! I watched all 15 days in 2 days or less and decided to order this book study to go along with the videos. Let me say that Havilah never once suggested we purchase the book to accompany the videos! I respect that and was inspired to dig deeper, so I purchased this book.I am grateful that I did! It is easy to read and each day unfolds more content that backs up the day(s) prior!Havilah, Thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit and saying “Yes” to writing this book! It is changing the way I think about my life and I am refreshed to learn that I can say “no” without regret when I stay inside my belief system and my new and and developing boundaries that each day I am learning. I am staring to understand that my power is really just making life easier as I realize that I own my choices, my feelings and my attitudes! No one else can define those for me and God sets boundaries to protect and love me!I have already bought this for my sister, I will share with many others! These boundaries help you to see your self as God sees you and to love others while exercising your boundaries.This is the first time I have done a true study on boundaries and Havilah makes everything that you need to learn easy to put into our daily lives. While she quotes verses from the bible to go along with how God wants you to handle saying yes and no.Havilah is hilarious and adds her own experiences into the book which made me feel even better that I wasn't the only one who, one needed help and two didn't know where my boundaries started and ended.ITS OK TO HAVE BOUNDARIES! I did Havilah’s “I do hard things” study and it was amazing, This one is a life changer!I really think I’m gonna do it again after finishing this amazing study! I have shared it with so many people, and the Lord has also blessed me to be a blessing and buy books and send them as a gift from God. I always thought boundaries were like a traffic cop blowing his whistle to stop! But Havilah explained boundaries in a whole new way. Almost every problem I face can trace back to a lack of boundaries! I had no idea how little of clarity I have had surrounding what is in my yard (my choices, feelings and thoughts) and what is in others. The truth will set you free!I did this Boundaries study by myself, with a few friends over morning text discussion, and with my kids in homeschool. I can't express HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS!

I’ve read other boundaries books and bought this Bible study because I wanted some help in digging deeper and applying what I’d learnt more practically to my life. Although I was familiar with a lot of the principles, this study made sense of boundaries practically in my life. The content is visual and engaging and broken into manageable daily readings and prompts to work through. It’s easy to read and yet still life-changing and profound. Great to do individually or as a group.

Absolutely amazing Bible Study, life-changing and is so well taught and Havilah makes it very easy to understand.Very practical and absolutely wonderful that has helped me so much in my life.

I have found this such a life changing and empowering study! There are 15 days of teaching which has a great blend of theology and psychology, Its such an informative and practical study, I loved how there are activations to put learning into practice for each day. I'm feeling more confident in knowing what is in my yard and what isn't and communicating this effectively to those around me. Its a new learning journey, but what a great way to start the New Year!
