Great buy. Comfortable and convenient if you move often; great for students who move every year.

It's a sturdy foundation but the wood used is unfinished -- they could have sanded the pieces. I used wood glue along with the screws provided, also glued down the ends of the slats for a more solid feel. The "splintery" wood was hard to work with but, once the foundation was assembled and enclosed in its cover, I forgot about the splinters, and enjoyed sleeping on a solid foundation. Before buying, I researched other foundations, and chose this one because its slats were much closer together than the others. Should extend the life of the mattress. I would recommend this product.

I put this together myself and put the cover on myself. Supposedly others have said this was difficult. It took about 20 minutes to put together. Why 4 vs 5 star? The first set of slats arrived broken and also the carrier used was not ideal. Luckily I won't have to buy another foundation for quite while.

The quality of this product is not good. Arrived with many holes and rough finish. A dusty debris was all over the product. The center piece was bent so that they middle rail would not sit flush for a mattress to lay on top. Just a bad experience all the way around. A waste of money and time. However, no a good note,I found another company on Amazon with the opposite experience. My advice, shop around to find a better product on Amazon.
