PullRite 3365 SuperGlide QuickConnect Capture Plate, Black

Overall works as it should w/PullRite sliding hitch.However, the way it fasteners onto the RV is REALLY super lame. It only has 1 bolt that needs an Allen wrench put inside of it to tighten it onto king pin.I have to be careful when unhooking RV as to not knock the plate off and it is a p.i.a. To get it tightened back in place unless you have someone w/ strong shoulders to hold it tight against the mating surface on the RV as you find an Allen wrench and tighten it.Also I had to cut the cup down a good 3" on my 3 leg king pin jack so the bottom surface of jack cup contacts the bottom surface of the king pin as the plate and Allen bolt get in the way of cup type tripod jacks.Another thing that could use improvement is their shim idea for making it fit trailer. Having worked on autos for years I feel shims usually point to a band-aid for poor engineering.I have used it for a few years towing all around the USA full time.It is the only option as far as I know for the PullRite slider hitch, just wish they put the effort/attention to detail into the plate design they did w/the hitch.

This capture plat is very well designed, made of high quality materials, and manufactured to tight tolerances. And it works, without issues. What more can I say?As for the install, technicians, from the dealer from whom we purchased our RV, installed the capture plate on the king pin. I watched them install it, and it took them the all of ten minutes or so to do so. Now that I have seen it done, I could do the same install in about the same amount of time.Other than occasionally checking the tightness of the bolts used to hold the plate in place, there isn't any other maintenance required. Although, I do apply WD-40 to the bottom of the plate before attaching the RV to 5th wheel hitch. for that matter, I apply WD-40 to matching plate on the hitch as well. (This is inline with the instructions supplied by PullRite.)Highly recommended!

Easy to install

I wish there was another pin to hold it on but it did work well. No complaints.

Love is not a term I would use to describe a piece of steel, like is a better term. This item is what a ordered after carefully reading and measuring to make sure this plate was the correct one for my application. There are other plates that are available for various 5th wheel pin plate sizes, if you order the wrong one you may be unhappy. This one fit my '96 Alpenlite when fitted with the appropriate shims as described. I purchased a used Pullrite SuperGlide 5th wheel hitch and it did not come with this plate.

It fit my RV perfectly.

Works great but the torque set screw doesn’t hold or on place we’ll. I have to reattach it every few months. But not a deal breaker.
