What is a roller sponge?

Not sure what your question is, this is by far the best cleaning tool I have had in the past 25 years, I found this tool in Ocean State Lot store many years ago and saw it during a home exhibition, the sponge is durable but you must soak it in water before you use it. it cleans well especially for the bathroom. you cannot find this tool anywhere in the store, thank Amazon that still sells it.

Does the mop hold up to bleach?

It seems to. The only complaint I have is the handle is pretty flimsy. But the mop head is pretty amazing.

Is this the same as rubbermaid ubbermaid commercial pva sponge mop with handle, fgg78004band does it fit the rubbermaid refills?

It looks to be the same as Rubbermaid. But not sure would be interchangeable. Read instructions first. Mop is very hard when new and must soak completely. Best mop ever.

Yes, we used ours to clean the ceiling, before we patched the cracks....It works well...
