This book is great, arguably one of the definitive resources on carnivorous plants (CPs) for the average hobbyist, so much so that on various carnivorous plant forums people refer to it as "the book" (emphasis on the) without actually naming it. That says a lot about how well regarded it is.There are sections for the various types of CPs - Sarracenias, Droseras, Venus Flytraps, etc. are all covered separately with subsections on the peculiarities of their care, lighting requirements, propagation techniques, etc. The writing is very good, the book is well organized and the photographs and drawings lovely. I have lots of Post-its and stickers so that I can quickly refer to my favourite plants and sections.Highly recommended for anyone getting started in the hobby or just interested in a fascinating group of plants that are startlingly beautiful as well.
