Barney Butter Almond Butter, (Smooth, 16oz)

This is my favorite almond butter. While some will prefer nut butters with nothing added, I think the touch of organic cane sugar and salt enhance the flavor greatly, and the little bit of palm oil (which is a healthy oil) makes the texture so creamy that it’s dreamy. I love adding a spoonful to a bowl of oatmeal for a kick of protein, spreading g it on crackers or bread, or just eating it with a spoon. It also makes amazing almond butter cups. A candy mold, some melted fair trade chocolate, and a dollop of this stuff makes a heavenly confection. What’s more, it’s cheaper on Amazon than it is at my local supermarket.

I appreciate this brand for its quality and taste; shelf life has been good. Consistency, mixability-spreadability are good. No odd smells or after taste. Container was well sealed, and product tasted fresh on opening.

Easy to spread. Great flavor. No puddle of oil on the top. Made in a peanut free factory.

Barneys is by far the best almond butter I've tried. I'm a healthy eater who likes to enjoy my food. It's delicious in a way that doesn't feel like I'm sacrificing not having peanut butter. My kid loves it as well and never asks for peanut butter. Towards the bottom of the jar, the almond butter can get a little hard to spread, but otherwise it's truly excellent.
