A+++ in my 2016 Tundra
I just bought a used 2016 Toyota tundra double cab. Love the vehicle but the two things I didn't care for was one being how there wasn't that much giddy up when starting off driving. Always seem like there was a lag. The other being the gas mileage. The truck had nice Yoko 35x125x18 mudding tires. They definitely look nice but does not help with the mileage. When driving it back from the dealership to my house which is 3 hours away I actually got only 13 miles per the gallon according to the onboard computer.So I thought the pedal Commander couple weeks ago and installation was super quick. Took me less than 5 minutes to get it installed. Had to go test it out right away. Put it on City mode. Soon as I barely hit the gas my tire spun on the gravel. Never did that just using the factory engine. Then I put it in Sport nice.All I can say is holy ****. It is like driving a totally different vehicle. No more lag when hitting the gas pedal. If you buy this product you will love how much difference you can see right away.As for the mileage. I went ahead and first put it in City mode that has better mileage and more acceleration. Drove a 2-hour trip and on board computer said I was getting 15 MPG.My last trip that was also 2 hours I put it in economy mode. Better gas mileage and no real acceleration added. My onboard computer said I was getting 18 -19 MPG.If you get the pedal Commander that has Bluetooth built in. The app is excellent and you can preset each of the modes with however many gains you want.I highly recommend this product. Best purchase I've made with a vehicle ever.

Quick and easy upgrade for your vehicle
If you're reading these reviews then you want one so just go buy it.If you like reading then continue on.I was fortunate that the same module fits both my vehicles. I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra w/V8 and Toyota Camry w/V6. I've always like my truck but found it to have a split personality and can take of nice and smooth and another time it bits your head off and just jack rabbits off the line. So I thought I'd try this to take control the performance. I found it changed the truck too much one way or the other. Eco mode made the pedal very dead. I can see how this can improve fuel economy. City makes the truck almost undriveable. It's very twitchy. At that point I decided I like my truck the way it was and removed the module. I can see how you can blow your transmission with this thing. I like my truck too much to risk wrecking it. As for the Camry, I was surprised how much it improved the car. Eco still makes the pedal dead but would be good for those long road trips. City is still very twitchy. This time I went for sport and found it great. My Camry is finally responsive the way I thought it always should've been. It gives the car a nice sporty feel. I am using more gas but I'm having fun while I do it. I don't see myself testing sport+ as I like my car and don't want to break it either.In conclusion, I find this a great improvement for any older vehicle. It may seem expensive but I've found any sport add-on for a vehicle is expensive. This is actually reasonable priced for what it does.

Thing is no JOKE!
Installed on a 2018 4Runner TRD Pro Premium. Installation was pretty easy, but it took me maybe 25 or 30 minutes. Nobody mentions it’s a little difficult to get the adapter off the connector to the gas peddle. Doing it by hand is near impossible. I took a flat head screwdriver and placed it on the right side of the connector laying it flat just under the bottom edge. I slowly turned the screwdriver so it was vertical, that did the trick, it popped right off. I ran the wire through the slot under the stirring wheel level adjuster. Then mounted it on the right of the steering wheel (note:do this before you connect it to the gas peddle or you’ll have to pop it off again).How it performs: Its ridiculous! I run it on city +2 or +3 and get better gas mileage than stock. This mode also gives me all the power I need. Eco is pretty sluggish but you get great MPG (It’s less throttle/response than stock for sure) Sport and Sport plus are insane. As others have stated, you barely hit the peddle and you’re gone.I know this doesn’t increase HP, but man, it definitely tricks you into thinking it does.I have this paired with a CatBack Magnaflow Exhaust.My only concern or negative is taking it into the dealership. The instruction book tells you to just turn it off for routine maintenance but if you need to have an issue isolated it recommends removing it. Makes me wonder if there is any warranty issues. However, I’ll just remove it. Installation was not too bad!I just filled up my tank to head from San Diego CA to Big Bear CA and back. I was in city plus 2 and I pulled 18.8 mpg. The thing is impressive. Extremely happy with my purchase. Now I’m wondering what I would have pulled in eco mode!

Make it a priority purchase.
Originally I purchased this because I heard about this from a YouTube related to this product and my truck. Definitely go a do your research. I had heard about it from and acquaintance but thought it was only for diesel trucks.Make sure the one your purchasing is for your make and model. Setup is a very easy. Easy to instal, easy to remove if you have a warranty call. Dealer so far does not have an issue with this mod.When I bought my original thought was to improve responsiveness. It definitely improved responsiveness. WOW! This brings the truck to life. Numerous options such as city, sport, and sport plus. Each level is unique and worth it. Sport plus makes my Tundra a whole new animal. Owners of this can control from the device in the car or through an app. Both are very easy to use. Read the directions and watch some YouTube. Little Easter eggs with this device.Now the interesting part, Eco mode. I originally was thinking I would not really use except for long trips. It makes the acceleration feel like the truck is loaded. After driving quite a bit with this, I’m really liking the ECO mode. Saving 3 miles per gallon so far over 2,500 miles. It works for me in bumper to bumper.Bottom line, try all the modes and all of the settings.This is not a mod to change performance, only throttle control. Big difference! Buy a Cold Air Intake filter if your looking to improve performance among other great mods. Get this to have way way better throttle response or options.Smiles per miles!
