Fun maths game
My son had loads of fun on this mat. It’s big enough for two or three people to play, the number line is clear and the die are great fun. Playful way to learn maths.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY AT IT'S BEST!!
The biggest obstacle in creating a learning game is to do just that; make learning as fun as a game and a child will retain the knowledge gained from the experience. Experience creates memories and memories are not forgotten when thought of often! I work in early education and I am a Director. I purchased this as well as the Alphabet Marks game. I purchased them for the summer program when we have some older kids and this game was such a hit! The foam dice are exciting for younger kids just by themselves. It was exciting and I love the way that it taught so many more things than just math. The kids had to work on social skills like crazy. They had to take turns, be patient and how to win or lose well. They became self learners as the older children (ages 5-8) naturally lead the younger ones and did a great job explaining math skills. A child that can give directions on adding and subtracting is a clear example of thorough understanding! The teamwork was awesome and would make any teacher proud. Keep in mind, there were only 6 children in a group and larger sizes would not have given such a thorough insight. I love to adapt games to young ages too. For 3-4 year olds, one dice was used and each child would roll it (gross motor skills because we let them throw it far to get some energy out) and they would pick it up and match it to the number on the mat. Cognitive learning done in this format creates a math memory and it will be retained and will be a strong stepping stone in math skills. This learning resource was given to me at a lower cost for my honest review. Early Education is my passion and this is a game I would recommend. It is "learning through play" at it's best

Grandson Approved
Our three year-old grandson loved this for his birthday gift. He really likes numbers and has spent many hours playing with this math mat. In the process, he is already learning how to add and subtract. Along with his blankie, , he even tries to take the large foam dice to bed with him. Lol
