My new GO-TO!
You must char an onion and ginger. Non negotiable. I didn’t have any raw beef to add into the broth so I used leftover frozen soup beef bones. Just 3 palm sized ones, and it gave the broth a beefy enough flavor. I put half of the soup base powder in at the beginning of simmering the meat, and one spice pouch in about 20 mins later. I simmered everything for a total of 1.5 hrs. It still wasn’t strong enough of a spice flavor around the 40 minute mark so I added two star anise, a pinch of fennel, and cloves. I also added a small piece of rock sugar, a tablespoon of Dasida beef powder, and fish sauce to taste at the very end (I like a salty broth in the pot because it guarantees it won’t get watered down by toppings and noodles.) It’s the best quick pho I’ve made. I just made a 15hr pho broth from scratch 4 days ago and this soup base method is so much more convenient for a super close flavor.

Pretty good.
Not as good as home made, but saved hours of time. The taste is not bad when you have to have your Pho fix.

Restaurant Quality at Home
I’ve wanted to make pho at home for ages, especially now that it’s getting colder. This powder delivers an unbelievably delicious broth that rivals restaurant quality. While a true restaurant broth is simmered for hours on bones and is likely more nutritious, this mix hits the spot perfectly. I don’t drink the broth on its own because it’s a powder, so it doesn’t offer the same health benefits as a bone‑based stock. However, the flavor is outstanding. It’s super easy to use just add water and you can scale the batch from a single bowl to 10 or even 20 bowls. I made a ten‑bowl batch, froze the broth, and now pull out portions every few days to make beef pho. The convenience and consistent quality are phenomenal. Pros: - Restaurant‑level taste - Easy, quick preparation - Scalable from 1 to 20 bowls - Freezes well for future meals Cons: - Lacks the nutritional benefits of a bone‑based broth Overall, this pho powder is a game‑changer for home cooks who want authentic flavor without the long simmer.

Good, and, a little goes a long way.
A little goes a loooooong way. This was a unique, interesting product. It's like a powder but it's beef fact and flavorings. It's meant to make large quantities, but you can just add a single spoon and it's plenty to make broth - really salty if you add too much, but quite good. Comes with 2 spice bags that you could reuse a few times. Good overall.

Makes very flavorful pho
It comes as a dry pace in a container. Used it to simmer with bones and other aromatics for a couple of hours and made amazing pho. It’s basically a bullion for pho. Makes it much quicker and gives Amazing flavor

Quick way to make individual pho portion
Here's how to make individual servings of this wonderful soup quickly: 1. Buy a tea infuser something like this: https://a.co/d/03RLHYn 2. Get some instant rice noodles like these: https://a.co/d/bkZfi52 - Moma Instant Rice Noodles 3. Cut open the two spice packs and dump into a ziplock bag. Add 2.5 cups water in a small sauce pan. Put 1/2 teaspoon of the spice mix in the tea infuser. Also add a couple of pinches of onion powder/granulated, and also a couple of pinches of ginger powder (or add a few slices of fresh ginger directly to the water). Heat water with tea infuser in the pan. Let boil for a couple of minutes. Remove infuser (and ginger if used). Add 1 tablespoon of the pho powder from the container to the water. Stir. Add any protein that you want to water. Bring to boil. Pour water over one serving of the above noodles in a bowl. Cover and let sit for 3 minutes. Enjoy. Really great tasting pho in about 5 minutes. And cost is about $3 instead of $20 at the restaurant.

Way too salty!
This is basically 'Better than Bouillon'-type instant broth with a pretty good spice packet in it. I don't use Better than Bouillon products either. The spice packet is pretty authentic tasting but you can't get enough flavor from the instant broth without way overdoing the saltiness. A better solution is to find better broth and buy a spice packet only, or to buy a different product altogether. Not worth the cost and trouble.

Best broth ever!
This makes amazing broth! It's sold as a soup base with an all in recipe on the container, but I taste tasted my way into making the perfect cup of broth - 2 tsp for a big soup cup (so about 400ml of 70-80C water); about 30 calories, but it hits the trifecta for good broth: fatty, savoury and salty. That little bit of fat just gives it such a full flavour and it's absolutely what's missing in other broths. There's no storage instructions though I've been keeping mine in the fridge since I opened it (because of the fat content, I'd be worried about it going rancid). Happy to say that it's been a good month and it's still as good as when I bought it!

Delicious Restaurant-Quality Pho at Home!
This pho soup base is my go-to! I used to spend a ton of money eating pho out, but now I make my own at home. By following the recipe, it tastes just like the restaurant—delicious, rich, and flavorful. Not only do I save money, but it’s also really easy to use. Highly recommend for any pho lover!

Very good taste
I bought this for my grandmother who enjoys pho soup but finds the cubes to make too much broth for her use. Being able to add and taste as much or as little paste as she wants is really convenient for her. The only downside is the the spice packet is made to make the whole package at once, but she separated it in teabags that she uses for the small batches that she makes. Overall, very good taste, and easy to use.
