The glue does not stick to the plastic pieces well.. every time I try to pull it out the plastic piece comes off the glue.. what should I do?

Be sure you clean the plastic table with alcohol. I've found heating the tab prior to the glue can help. Mostly I found that Surebonder high temperature clear sticks work best.

I dont think I fully understand -- you glue a pad to the dent, you pull up the dent. Then, how do you remove the glue and pad?

The glue is placed on pullers which then are placed on the dent you use tools to pull on the pullers then you remove the glue with a special remover off of the pullers

I am having difficulty getting the black glue to stick to bare metal. Are these glue sticks not meant to be used on bare metal?

It had to be cleaned with 91% isopropyl alcohol/ denatured alcohol first to remove any contaminants and panel has to be warm in order to stick properly.
