Bolt Action Late War British & Commonwealth Infantry 1:56 WWII Military Wargaming Plastic Model Kit

I’ve painted 5 full Bolt Action sets and a few Tamiyas. I can say confidently that THIS is the best one I’ve had the chance to put together so far.Awesome features:Newer, stronger plastic-not sure what exactly the difference is, but it’s palpable. The plastic is a slightly lighter shade than the other sets. It’s tougher and holds more firmly after glue application. It just FEELS more durable and reliable, this making you more confident as a hobbyist going about your assemblage.Highly Customizable- each face offers a dynamic and special character to the mini. Helmets are optional. Weapons and arms interchangeable.Funny, humorous characteristics- the tea cup on the bag, the huge mustaches, the silly faces, it offers something truly unique. You feel excited to get these guys on the game board and you feel personally attached to each soldier.ONLY DOWNSIDEthe arms and weapons are a PAIN to apply. Make sure you have a small container set aside just for arms and guns because you’re going to be doing mixing and matching before you get the right combo for the right pose.Good luck and have fun! Good value. Nice poses. Use glue designed for plastics (Testor's blue) and it'll make assembly easier. Totally satisfied with the outcomes after painting. Keep the extra bits as you can use them for conversions on other Bolt Action products or as replacements.

This box was purchased for use in the Bolt Action WW2 game or similar skirmish wargames. I have purchased other Warlord Bolt Action products and this box exhibited the same excellent quality. The figures are not of "heroic" proportions-- rather closer to a true 1/56 scale, but still compatible with other, larger figures like the British Airborne. Lots of fiddly bits to assemble, but that also provides even more options for uniquely animating your figures. Shipping was also great-- arrived a day earlier than expected.

Detail is great. Multi-pose so you can convert/kit bash them.

A very adaptable set of plastic miniatures; enough to get started into the game. There is a great mix of weapons found in a typical British/Commonwealth Infantry Platoon including 2" Mortars and PIATs. There is an excellent of heads, Helmets are Mk II and Mk III as well as some well camouflaged helmets that could serve for either. The selection of arms match the weapons, interesting poses can be obtained. There will be left-over items for other projects.

Do not recommend this. Comes with too many little pieces and is tedious to put together. I mean all in good fun if you have the exact tools to put them together, but too many small pieces to even bother with.
