One of the things that led me to purchase this fountain was that another review stated it did not splash. If you've ever had any experience with table top fountains then you know what a concern this is. I have to say this is one of the cleanest fountains I've ever owned in that respect. The other deciding factor were the statements made regarding customer service. Now I hate paying shipping as much as the next guy which is why I shop at Amazon, but I have to say that they more than made up for it.My first fountain arrived on time but it was damaged. The paint was chipped on the lower portion and there was a hole in the side of the upper portion. I called the seller's customer service number and was instructed to send an email to sales describing the problem. They wrote back the same day with an apology and said a replacement would be sent as soon as possible. A few days later I wrote to find out the status of the replacement and they responded with a UPS tracking number. The new fountain arrived today, only seven days after my first contact. There were no additional shipping charges, no RMA to deal with, and no need to return the damaged fountain. I have to say, they are excellent to deal with.The only reason I gave it a four star rating instead of five is that the little piece of hose that connects the pump to the upper portion seems a little too short for the job. After several adjustments I do have it working properly but I'll likely look for some tubing at a hardware or pet store before long. Other than that it works great. The only noise I hear is the trickling water. No pump noise at all. But trust me, if you don't have enough water in this to completely cover the pump you'll know it. Then it gets noisy.

The fountain looks exactly as pictured, my only problem with it is that it does not come with an on/off switch, so you have to plug it in, then unplug it each time to turn it on or off, which is really quite annoying. I wanted to place this on my desk, and the powerstrip I use is way underneath in the back so I'd have to crawl under the desk everytime I want to turn the power on or off, which is a major inconvenience. I had another fountain that came with the on/off switch and it was so easy to turn it on every day.The marble at the top spins really fast, and it spins from right to left so it does make you dizzy if you stare at it. I'd prefer if it spinned from top to bottom.Otherwise, the fountain itself looks good.

I am very pleased with this fountain. For such a reasonable price, it looks similar to stone. I thought it would be smaller but it's a good size still for a table or counter. It wasn't difficult to install the pump and it is necessary to keep the reservoir full to keep the pump quiet. I also found it necessary to keep it on the maximum setting to get a good water flow/sounds. My fountain arrived in good condition but the box was badly beat up and the Styrofoam container containing the fountain was also beat up and crumbling.

This fountain was not what I thought--the "soothing" sounds of water turned out to be annoying, like someone taking a pee. I gave it away after three days. The water evaporates quickly, and the motor is louder than the water, like an an aquarium pump. The only "soothing" fountains seem to be the really big ones that don't sound like someone washing their hands or going to the bathroom.

My product came in 1 day earlier then due date however the box looked like it had been used as a soccer ball. The box was also warped because of water damage. I opened the box up and the cheap foam had been broken in multiple places and overall is just looked like a bomb went off in it. Very poor packaging with cheap foam that gets everywhere. The product itself was split into and then broken and chipped in 3 other places. It was a complete mess. I cannot believe this could happen to a package. I might of made a big difference if the seller packaged it better and sent it via Fedex or UPS but it was sent USPS which is probably the problem. Also the marble ball that it came with looks nothing like the marble in the picture. The marble in the picture looks really neat, ghosty and almost looks like a planet. The one I got was a clear marble with clear bubbles in it and looks cheap. I will upload pictures of all this.The seller I got it from was Furniture Creations. I immediately requested a return/refund. The company got back with me within 24 hours, apologized and refunded my money without question. I was expecting the option of either a refund or try another attempt but they made the choice for me. I personally wanted to see this fountain in action so I would of picked a retry if I had the option. That was a bit unprofessional of them.Bottom line I will try and purchase from another seller or attempt another go at Furniture Creations.

It's a nice fountain. It doesn't have the flash or flare that some do; it's just a simple little fountain that sits on your desk and makes that pleasant water trickling noise. You don't have to worry with refilling it every day like some unless, like me, you have cats that use it as a water bowl, and the pump for it is super quiet as well and I have yet to hear it running. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. If I were to say anything negative about it, it is the absolute simplicity of the thing and that it has no lights on it so that if you actually want to see it, you do have to have the lights on, so it's not good if you like to sit in a dark room with that water trickling sound and some minimal light for ambiance from the same device. My advice in that situation is to use candles.

very nice fountain; realistic design and very relaxing to listen to the cascading water; i would have given this a 5 star, except that the pump assembly was a little tricky getting the right height for total submersion in the well; if the pump is not completely submerged, it will make a noise; my wife and i have this fountain surrounded by candles on an alter for our morning meditation.
