Herman MillerGF 2.5 inch Hard Floor & Carpet Glides Set for Aeron Chair (Set of 5)

I finally broke down and ordered a new Aeron chair from Herman Miller. There is no option to get them with these feet when you buy the chair, so I ordered them to arrive on the same day as my chair. I have hardwood floors in my office and I didn't want casters because they move too easily and scratch the floor. These are official Herman Miller accessories so they install simply and quickly. I stuck some heavy-duty 3M felt pads on the bottom of these and they're perfect. I can scoot the chair easily enough, but it doesn't move when I'm sitting in it and I won't mar the floor when I move it.

I recently started using a Cubii while working from home, but doing so tends to make my Mirra 2 chair roll around, and the little chair stoppers that Cubii provides were not as effective as I'd hoped. Since I don't tend to roll my chair around much anyway, I decided to replace my chair's casters with these.Installation is a breeze. The old casters pop off and these pop on, just takes a couple of minutes and no tools required. Now my chair (on carpet) stays put while I'm sitting in it no matter how hard I pedal the Cubii, but the glides still allow me to slide the chair around easily when I'm not in it.

I've tried the hardwood-floor-wheels for my Aeron and it was sliding around everywhere especially since I tend to push back with my feet into my chair. This was the perfect fix. Simply pull out the wheels and push these in and voila!

Product quality was very good, easy to install seemed very sturdy. HOWEVER when installed the chair was 2" shorter. As a 6'3" man it made the chair too low and very uncomfortable, so I returned them to Amazon and got a glass floor mat instead.No knock on the quality of the product, just maybe a note on the page stating that they chair will be considerably lower when these are installed.

I have an embody and absolutely hated how easy I’d roll all around when I didn’t want to. Replayed the wheels with these and it’s a game changer. The install is extremely easy, just pop the wheels off and pop these in, no tools required. Great product.
