Is this a replacement for beard oil? I like the idea of something water based as opposed to oil.

They are complimentary. The best approach is to use the Lotion as part of the morning routine to keep beard hair manageable. The Oil is great to use in the evening to help the hair stay hydrated, and it doesn't leave marking on pillows or clothing with recommended usage. However, using both together does not assist in improving the whiskers; in fact, it inhibits the Oil from absorbing due to the superior de-tangling ability the Lotion provides.

Is this product vegan and cruelty-free?

My husband loved this product since it kept his skin from drying out. He only used it for a few weeks before he passed away.

Is this a non-comedogenic formula?

Beardsley Lotion for Beards is made with a non-greasy formula. All the ingredients are FDA approved, and are also certified by the European Union, which has even more stringent requirements. However, according to the FDA there is no standard in cosmetics that can substantiate whether a product is comedogenic or not and thus does not acknowledge it.
