It's ok, but barely worth it's price.
East we found was the humming puts our dog off from actually approaching the launcher, but if your dog isn't wound up by hoovers, you should be ok. Bear in mind, the condition of the ball will determine the distance and angle of the ball, as you can see on the video. Whereas the weight of the ball will determine the distance, outside of the launch speed and angle of the unit. Although not the distance launcher I was hoping for, it does get to the bottom of my small yard which is around 14meters from launcher to wall. Another point was that my unit came with an American plug, not a problem for me, but it is something buyer's should be mindful of. Lastly, the hopper is quite big, but not convinced it is for stacking more than one ball, as more than one has the potential to get stuck, this could be solved had the tray design incorporated a sorting aspect. That said, we have had a total of 14 balls in the hopper comfortably. When multiple balls are in the hopper, there is a potential for the launcher to launch more than one ball. We found this was down to weight and size of the ball. Lastly, the 'beep' that sounds before the ball is launched is not loud enough when the launcher is on its highest setting, as the sound of the motor drowns it out. It stops working altogether if you are feeding snobbery balls back into the launcher. A good indication of snobbery balls, is when the launch angle/distance drops.

Looks fun for dogs
Very good standard tennis ball machine. Unfortunately the plug was a two pin so it wasn’t suitable for use here. It looked very good from the video on the description page and will be great fun for dogs. However we couldn’t use it and it was returned.

Works for our Big dog that doesn’t know what the word chill means. Taught her how to drop the ball in it & chase it. We sit back & say “Look ma, no hands” 😁 price was ok, delivery was fine. So far so good on the durability part.

We received this item in a battered box, with a return shipping label from a previous customer on it. A return authorization certificate was in the box. The tennis ball and instructions were missing. The motor was so noisy our dog would not go near it. Clearly a returned item was slapped with a new shipping label and sent out. It is going back again. We gave it a try, it did shoot our tennis ball a good distance and I think if we had received the new item we ordered, we probably would have been satisfied and kept it.

Engineer here, and this launcher is way noisier than it should be, even at the lowest power setting. The launcher works very well, and my dog absolutely loves it, but it is too loud to have anywhere other than a remote location, like outdoors or in a basement, away from daily life (see video). And the worst part is, there’s absolutely no mechanical reason for it to be this loud. I think the APU on a commercial airliner is quieter. Had to return it, much to the dismay of my dog. Will have to find a different version.

I’ve purchased pretty much every single ball launcher available and they all have the same exact problem, it’s like not a single one of these manufacturers has ever tested this with a dog. The tennis ball after just a an hour becomes fuzzy and wet and makes it harder to launch. You lose range, the inside of the machine gets all the fuzziness stuck in all parts, and the ball gets ruined in a day. Replace the tennis ball with a rubber 2.5 inch rubber ball. Now this has a small problem too, because it also gets slippery and wet, so I took a rag, cut a hole in it, and attached it to the tray. This way when your dogs throws the ball in there, it dries it down just a tad. This ball launcher is a bit better than the other ones in the way it uses plastic “gears” to launch the ball as opposed to weaker systems. Hopefully the company fixes this, as these are small tweaks. Rubber ball, and some felt pad/or air system to dry the ball off. As we know, our pups don’t exactly dry their own balls :)
