This book is slightly outdated as Wings are long gone but it is very readable nonetheless. We get a good insight into the life of one of the country's best-loved musicians and his family life which is refreshingly honest and down-to-earth. A well-balanced and entertaining account of the life of Paul McCartney. I am a lifelong fan of his music but I hope that does not cloud my judgement. Well done Mr. McGee.

Great! Excellent! Learned a lot about the group
At first, I thought it was to regurgitate already known info. It could be thought of as a great addition to the Wingspan Trilogy (CD + book + DVD). After reading all of it, it would seem Wings came to an end because of Paul's insecurities. He may be a great musician, but he was a lousy human being.
