Lots of fun
This pool game set is loads of fun! The flexibility of having two games (basketball or volleyball) in one is nice too. Of course, with the supplied parts, you can only setup one game at a time, but it is pretty easy to change back and forth. The bases do a nice job also of staying in place once you fill them with water. I also like that all the parts are plastic or other materials that will not rust, so there won't be any stains left on my pool deck.My only reason for not scoring a 5 on durability is that one of our bases arrived with a small pinhole leak. The manufacturer promptly processed a warranty claim for me to solve the problem. So I give it 4 stars for durability (I would have only scored it a 1 or 2 if they had not supported the warranty claim). The manufacturer was very helpful and friendly too.

Great for small to medium size pools
We have a medium sized inground pool. Easy to put together, just stick the poles in the base, fill base with water, attach and adjust net to your pool size and jump in. This is our 2nd purchase of this item. After 8 years the net started fraying, so was cheaper to purchase new set than just the net. Would recommend for a friendly game of volleyball. I would't recommend if more than 2-4 people are playing and no heavy hitters as the base just sits on the sides of pool and is only filled with water. I would think it would toppel over if your to close to the net with to many people playing

Worked well!
Worked well for us! Very easy to set up and use. Some of the ropes easily frayed, so I deducted a star for that. However, no regrets on the purchase. We used this constantly at the pool this summer.

Super fun
Very long net!! We wrapped it up in the poles and use what we need. Have the option of placing lengthwise if wanted. It is flimsy but it withstood us playing. Professional? No. Sturdy enough for backyard pool? Definitely!! Will it topple if you pull on it? Yes. The length of the net though does allow the option for us to tie to our pool fence to offer more stability if we needed a more “serious” game. The worst of course was having to inflate the ball- as how all balls are shipped.

Pretty good volleyball set...but...
The volleyball set is easy to put together and use. We filled the pole bases with water and snapped the poles into them without any trouble. The net is a nice size (height) and fits our 21' pool with not much left over. There are two drawbacks to this set though. The first is that the weight of the net tends to pull the poles inward at the top, which makes the net sag a bit. For those of you who like a low net for spiking, it won't be a problem. But seriously, it does sag a few inches. We corrected the problem by taking some poly-rope and tying the tops of the poles to our deck rail. So you can get buy this one if you don't mind the tie ropes. The second problem, which is a bigger problem, is that the net only lasted two seasons. I suspect the pool chemicals had a lot to do with it. It seemed to be disintegrating each time we used it. This is our third season with it, and I'm looking for a new net as the ends of the net that tie to the poles have come apart completely so there's nothing to tie to the poles. For the price, it's a good set. Maybe if you rinse the net off with tap water after each use it will last longer, but that's only a guess. If I had to buy it again, I probably wouldn't because of the net. But for an affordable net that's quick to set up, this one should do the trick.

Wow, $78 bucks for porous plastic that leaks water as soon as you fill it up...
I'm not sure if my product was defective or the company is skimping on the material but I was cheated I feel as I had purchased this way in advance to my family trip at the end of August. I thought $78 Dollars would deem the product sufficient but I was sorely wrong. As the instructions stated, you can fill the pylons with either water or sand. since it was more convenient to fill it with water, we elected to do so. Sadly immediately after we did we notice that it was leaking. Think it would be a simple fix I lifted it and (ref. picture) the entire plastic bottom was so porous that it was sprinking water from the bottom in over 30 different places. checked the other and the same thing was happening... Luckily my nephew found a solution to tie them to the pool chairs and we were to salvage a part of our vacation. I can't say I would buy any product from SwimWays again due to the distrust I have with the material they use to earn themselves a quick buck. can't help but feel like I was taking advantage of here...

Sturdy and fun!
Love this. Kinda tedious to assemble the basket ring part (took 2 people) but nothing that wasn't easily overcome. Completely finished in 15 minutes. But then we noticed we forgot to put the net on, so we had to take it apart and reassemble. So, about 20 minutes all together. Put the net on first! :)It's a sturdy set and pivots to adjust for a better angle depending on your pool depth transition. The ball inflated quickly & is sturdy. It's not flimsy like a beach ball, but more like an actual miniature basketball. The stand is heavy by itself, but you can put water in the base for further stabilization. We've only had it a few weeks so I can't say how well it stands up over time. But, so far so good.Pro-tip - set it up near a tall fence or with a "chairicade" behind it as we did. Otherwise, we either had to keep jumping out to retrieve the ball from errant shots or designated an official "ball retriever".
