PSP DOUBLE LIFE 3600MAH BATTERY TWICE 1800MAH LIFE

I scored this for like 2 dollars each including shipping, I bought like 4 of them because why not. I didn't expect any of them to actually work let alone double the battery life. Color me suprised, they are a bit big however, it took a bit of working with my case to get it to fit properly but they started right up and I haven't had any problems with them since.

This product is actually called "Double Life". When I acquired my first generation PSP, the original battery was dead. Because of this, I don't know how long it's life was. All I know, is that I can't imagine that originally the PSP1000 only stayed charged for half as long as this replacement does, and based on that rational, I am slightly less than impressed. These batteries are hard to find at all, 4 PSP generations later, however, and no other available source I found came close to the price, including shipping.

While it is listed as being 3600 mAh, I still get about the same charge time as the standard Sony 1800 mAh battery - around 7-8 from a 100% charge. The cell is slightly smaller than the stock PSP battery and a bit better of a fit. I was disappointed momentarily over the lack of additional battery life. However for the price, I was able to purchase two batteries giving me a total of about 21-24 hours total play time - total cost was less than $15.For the record, I am using this in a PSP 1001 running current firmware (v. 6.60) and have configured to conserve battery life - I primarily use my PSP as an MP3 player while at work with some light gaming.Bottom line: If you're looking for high capacity battery, this is not it. If you are looking for a less expensive spare batteries, this is what you're looking for.

work as describe great product fits the orginial psp the game system has a longer charge since this battery is stronger than the orginal one daughter was very excited since the game system works again after setting for months

1) Battery died within 2 weeks after getting it and will not hold a charge for more then a day or 2.2) While it is suppose to be larger and i understand this, it almost does not fit in the 3000 version of PSP system.3) Just buy a standard one don't buy this junk, unless you got tons of money to buy em like standard throw aways lol.This in my case was a DOA item.... almost.But you get what you pay for..... so good luck!

I am extremely disappointed in this product. This is my first review here even though i have bought quite a lot of things from amazon. I just had to log in to warn people about this. i don't even know who manufactured it since the battery has no information on it at all except for what you see on the picture here.I cannot be any more serious, this battery is about half the life of the normal Sony Battery that comes with the PSP. There's a reason why it's much cheaper. I was already suspicious when i first opened the package, the battery weights about as much as a pencil which is very unusual. The total time i can get out of this battery while playing a game with muted volume, lowest screen brightness and with a full charge, is about 2 hours and 15~30 minutes.It's a scam folks, don't buy it.

This Battery is just what I needed I mean the life is over 7 hours I cant believe how good this battery works, why did I wait so long to purchase this item, and the price just cant be beat.

great product, although it was bigger than expected I was able to use it anyway as a backup. I would recommend it to any one.
