Is a nice book to read for beginners

This wonderful book so beautifully done this fully illustrated, was the feeling among my fellow ballet, because here there these books is achieved, I made a wise choice, I am very happy, I use it to prepare lessons of my students and to enable me better myself. All are in love with the book. Live paid all copied. I recommend it highly.

I got this book cause I started taking adult ballet classes, so it was a very good reference book. I really enjoyed reading it and a good book to come back to afterwards.As a download on my kindle, it worked very well without freezing up. So in my opinion, this is a good book for anyone that loves ballet and looking for a guide to ballet.

The book is a nice reference, but a little weak in the syllabus. I was hoping for a more thorough class to add to what I already teach. The pictures are pencil drawings and very well done. I've mostly skimmed the book for new ideas which there were some. I think this is a book more for the beginning teacher as well as beginning student.

Pre-ballet concepts for children who know nothing about dance, about the structure and basics of ballet. Gives workable suggestions with sweet illustrations.

Awesome book! If you wanna learn how to teach a ballet class, this is a good guide.

...this book is okay ONLY AS A SUPPLEMENT to the RAD syllabus. You MUST buy that in order for this book to make ANY sense. There are too many lessons skipped to make heads or tails of this book. Other than than, nice illustrations and progression. But DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK if you are expecting it to be a blow by blow breakdown of each and every lesson taught in the RAD syllabus (which is misleading because the title of the book is "Step-by-Step").

great teaching tool. I use it weekly for reference when making my lesson plans or just even to use for refreshing the old brain.

Doing ballet at college this is a very good, very detailed book explaining things thoroughly with simple illustrations. Really helps show you how to perform and brushes up on your knowledge of ballet and the performing arts.Suitable for all ages, although it is not brightly printed it is literally more like drawn scanned images and writing so it's simple, basic, plain and easy however I do not think a younger child would want to read this probably ages 13+ is more idealistic for this book.Very good I recommend it to anyone adult or child, just starting out or wanting to learn more ballet.

My daughter had been doing ballet for about 6 months when I bought her this book. It is ideal for those starting out as it explains all the main positions along with really nice illustrations and photos to make it clear.It has sections on clothing for ballet, how to hold your hands and much more making it a great guide for all the essentials you need to know.

Bought for my granddaughter going through her grade 1 ballet exams. May have been better to have purchased a CD but it was quite expensive. On hindsight would have been a better purchase
