100% cotton, not just wrapped
Pros: 100% cotton. Limited lint production when sewing with it.Cons: Tensile strength is less than standard sewing thread. Regular machine quilting thread is 30 weight, while this is 40 weight. This thread works beautifully in my serger. When used in a regular sewing machine, it did not break, however, pulling the thread (such as done when snipping thread) invariably caused it to break. It did not break or snap at the seam, so a workaround is to just be gentle.I produce garments for individual dying, so having cotton thread means the thread will also pick up the dye.I also did the burn test to confirm all natural fiber, no poly showed up.
