Root Candles Unscented Pillar Candles Beeswax Enhanced Textured Timberline™ Pillar Candle, 3 x 6-Inch, White

I wasn't sure about this buy, it looked to good to be true, but these candles look and burn beautifully. The scent isn't overwhelming but even if the scent is light the value in appearance is outstanding (great color and texture). The candles do have a lighter Ivory color (unlike some that claim to be Ivory and turn out to be off white) The top of the candles stay pretty flat and burn evenly with a little care in pointing the wick it one side starts to build up. At this point after about 8 to 12 hours of burn time, I know they'll burn well over the 17 hours claimed probably more like 2 to 4 times that long, unless I got lucky somehow. Over all the candles are a little on the light side but are definitely Ivory in color. They burn great and evenly, putting out a nice amount of warm light for a candle this size. The wick is larger than anything I've seen in the super bargain stores. So they're a slow burning candle that will probably burn allot longer than advertised, and have a pleasant scent...

This brand is great quality. We get them on subscription every few months. They last a long time, burn evenly and don’t leave a black residue around the glass hurricane I have it in on our dinner table. I especially appreciate that they’re unscented, which seems harder than it should be to find in a white pillar candle.

This was just what I was looking for! First of all, it is NOT scented and that was just what I was looking for. It was exactly as pictured and the color is beautiful (I got the "rust" color." It came nicely packaged. It burns evenly with a nice long wick. Very happy with the purchase! I am from Ohio and this is made in Ohio, so I was happy to be supporting a local business! I always look for candle from Root first!

One star off for being so crazy expensive and hard to find. I have been seeking this Timberline appearance in the taupe color and finally found it on Amazon. I don't know why Root Candles have been out of stock for so long. This arrived in beautiful condition and looks great; I hate to burn it!

I love this candle! The color and quality are perfect, though expensive, this is the ONLY candle I could find online of anywhere that would match my moss/olive green velvet sofa. I wish they made the same color in taper candles, but they don't and the Willow color just didn't work with my decor. One of the most popular colored sofas on the market is this moss/olive green One would think more candle makers would make candles in this color but mostly all there are are outdated dead sage green colors.

Root candles have been my go to candle for at least 40 years and they did not disappoint. They are solid color all the way through. In fact, I just thought this was how all tapers were made until I once ordered some cheaper ones and had all the color chip off them within a year. From then on its always been Root candles for me. I just had no idea Amazon carried them. So happy when I found them to go on my black iron candlesticks.

These are odorless, so they are not intended to smell, which we appreciate. We burned these for a very long evening with dinner guests and they did not burn down very much. The second photo shows the wick after we extinguished the flames.

I am rating the candle a 5 star and the packaging is great only problem is for some reason I ordered 2 ivory candles and received only 1 ivory and the other one although the packaging indicated it was ivory was actually pure white? Anyway, I did not need white I needed ivory but none the less they are beautiful candles only wish I would've received the actual items I needed for decorative purposes as I needed two ivory candles not one ivory and one white other than that they are beautiful. I don't know about smokeless or longevity as I only use mine for decorative purposes.

It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. That said, if you ARE looking for the Japanese Cedar scent, you should know this is NOT it. It is labeled as a regular white beeswax candle on the box that was delivered and has no scent. I was looking for a good sized white beeswax candle and reluctantly purchased this Japanese Cedar one just out of sheer need. Which is why I am not disappointed that it is not as advertised! :)

Unfortunately this was meant to be a ginger and patchouli scented pillar candle (which are amazing) - what I received is a taupe non scented candle. Delivery was fast hence the one star.

Sure, they're alright, but realistically no more better than a candle of the same size then that of one a third the price. The dramatic price shift of this brand is far less desirable to continue purchasing them. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the product is above that of cheaper candles, but at $45 each now when I first purchased at $33, Absolutely not. They also have the nerve to sell a version 3 inches shorter at $53. Doesn't make any sense what so ever. The price shift is truly ridiculous between colours and size, candles aren't traded on the stock exchange by popularity.... They're candles. Drop the price on your product and make them more stable and I guarantee you'll make money. I truly hope you guys are listening.
