It tough but light; it completely encases the iPad's surfaces without bulk or weight; the screen is protected by a flip-on cover that also serves as the base when used in tilt-support desktop mode. COMMON QUESTIONS: No, no tools, adhesives, etc. are needed to install your iPad in this case. Yes, this is a 1-piece case (although the screen cover/base is removable if you have an Apple Keyboard). Yes, the installation is easy and takes under 1 minute. Yes, you can use your Apple Keyboard as a substitute for the case's screen cover. Yes, there is a place to store your Apple Pencil. No, there is no plastic or glass screen protector. Yes, the case's Apple Pencil holder works with some 3rd party stylus.
