We received only the tripod without carrying soft bag

Very good quality, expensive, but works well and looks like it's going to hold up well. Haven't been using it extensively/daily, but seems to be holding up very well so far, very stable, I expect that if using in high wind conditions I would need to add a weight at the center. No signs of premature, or any wear at all so far.

I bought this on the suggestion of a friend when I said I wanted a sane way to do overhead shots, and this has the ability to do that. What I wasn't prepared for was how sturdy this thing is. To be honest, all the tripods look pretty much the same in photos, but this is so much better than my previous one. I'm totally happy. The other bonus (sigh) is that I have a bad habit of taking photos that are tilted or not square, even when I used a tripod. I'm not sure what the heck I was doing wrong, but this one has broken me of that habit. Totally pleased.

Have used Manfrotto tripods for years, I always buy with confidence.

Photography is a hobby for me, but like the pros I realize that to obtain crystal clear pictures you need a rock solid, easily adjustable platform from which to shoot from during low light conditions (or anytime camera shake is a possibility.) Also if you have invested mightily in camera bodies and lenses, why trust their safety to a $29 dollar tripod? My Manfrotto 190 is rock solid and professional quality. I am very pleased.
