Peter's Railway & The Moonlight Express

My nephew continues to reread Peter's Railway and the Moonlight Express over and over again. I recommend this book to all.

five kids 7 and down sit spell bound for these fun stories.

My son is train mad, he is seven and at the age although he still reads the orginal thomas books needs something a bit more deetailed, this is perefect story and all the technical stuff. I have to admit all though the story is great and well written all the technical stuff makes my eyes glaze over, BUT,,,, my son and husband LOVE it, Husband will always read bedtime story if its one of those books, Great dad and son book,very clever

As my train mad son is getting older felt he might eventually outgrow Thomas books, found first of these at Crich Tramway museum. Great book for train enthusiasts from about 5 years upwards. nice stories and lots of engineering detail, should keep the interest for years. 5 in the set so far

Very well received by my grandson on his sixth birthday. An engaging story plus well presented information about how things on a railway work.

My seven year old loves Peter's Railway. He's kinda taken with steam trains, and this book is just enchanting.

Beautifully illustrated story with a wealth of factual information , simply presented so as to be understandable , a great book for dads or grandpar to read to the little fella
