Rizzoli Joy in the Little Things: Finding Happiness in Style, Home, and the Everyday

This is such a lovely book around being mindful and finding joy in the little things. Kerrie has written it so well, I have this on my shelf next to where I sit in the evenings so I can read it as part of my gratitude practice. The illustrations are just breathtaking and I spend ages admiring those alone!

Such a beautiful book.

Beautiful book! Not just stunning art but a great message about mindfulness. Only one downside that has nothing to do with contents of the book is there is a scent of roses or something floral on the cover page. Had to air the book out and remove the cover. Hopefully the scent goes away.

Keri Hess is a fashion illustrator I discovered through Instagram. I was thrilled to know she had a new book coming out...and it did not disappoint. If you are on the fence of buying it, don't be, its worth it and more. This is not just a book with pretty illustrations either the text is lovely and talks about self care and mindfulness, and learning how to enjoy life better. the joy in the little things. But there is plenty of fashion inspiration and beauty to derive from her illustrations which are the star of the show. But like I said it is beautifully written as well which gives the book more depth and meaning. Very relaxing book to enjoy and destress and to be inspired creatively by. I do wish it was a hardback though...I would like it to last a long time. But the paperback is really well made and bound very well...and is sturdy. It should hold up well. I would have purchased the hardback if they made it.

Kerrie Hess has written the most glorious to remind us of all the beauty that surrounds us every day. It's the perfect gift idea.
