Buon storie. Poi comunque è Vampirella. Dai.

searching for something completly not SJW or zero PC? bullseye!
Never been a reader, but Marvel's harsh downfall into sillyness has had me searching for something completly not SJW or zero PC. That is a main intrisic reason to dr8ft off 8n the comics with imagination of the mind!

A good solid read, perfect starting point for the character.
As a a big fan of Red Sonja, it was invetible that I would eventually start to develop an interest and curiosity for Vampirella. Both being big female characters in the comic world and Dynamite's most iconic, I decided to purchase this particular book because it was recommended by a few people online as a good collection of Vampirella stories. All in all, it's a good read. If you like vampires, gore, blood, horror, monsters slaughtering things, etc. then this book is for you. Vampirella herself is a fun character too, and not sore on the eyes whatsoever. The stories contained in this omnibus are entertaining and some of the art was a lot better than I was expecting. You are also given nice chunks of vital lore to Vampirella throughout the different stories which makes it easy for newcomers such as myself to get a basic understanding of what has happened with the character. You're also getting 400+ pages of stories so, you get what you pay for. That being said, I have a couple small complaints. First off, the stories are out of order chronologically. We start off with a mid 90's story, then we get to the early 2000's, and then to 1992. I find it odd they would not put the stories in the correct order.Second, there aren't any covers for the particular stories and arcs in the book which is a bit off from usual paperback collected editions/omnibus books. It would be nice to see what the covers look like for the stories.Third (and my biggest gripe personally), some of the stories in this book had plot lines/arcs that went for a few issues but for some reason they cut down on some of the content by only giving us a small chunk of a particular run/story. Grant Morrisan and Mark Millar's story in the beginning runs for 6 issues total but they only put in the first 3 or 4 which is stupid...why not give us all of it if we're shelling out extra money for the 400+ page omnibus? It even says at the last page for that story that is continued in the TPB for Grant Morrisan and Mark Millar's 6 issue story...which came with all 6 issues. What the hell Dynamite? There is also an Alan Moore story that was a part of something that was 3 parts long but we only got that specific chunk. Again, why not give us the whole thing? It feels confusing and anti-climatic to jump from an unfinished story to the beginning of another.Despite those few flaws this was a very enjoyable read. I am now wanting to read more Vampirella stories so the omnibus did a good job in getting me hooked. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys comics, horror, and hot vampire ladies.
