Does it work on thick hair?

I actually would not recommend this curling iron. And definitely not on thick hair! It doesn't have a tight close at all. Hope this helps. I ended up buying one from ulta that's purple. Can't think of brand.

This is perfect. I wanted a large barrel that would smooth and provide a little body with soft loose curls. The cover is really nice, allowing me to put it away right after using it and not leaving it sitting out to cool.
